If I may! In most cases the heater is clogged. It might be clogged with soap that has harden over time. You need to take the handle apart. You will see a metal box(thats the heater) besides the wires there are two tubes connected to the heater. remove the tubes but label or watch which tube goes where. now turn the heater upside down. there are 6 screws on the side and 1 in the middle. remove them carefully. the 6 on the side have a small gaskets under them..you don't want to lose them. the 1 in the middle has no gasket, now the bottom plate of the heater can be taken off (there is a gasket with that plate ...be careful . you will now see the long channels inside the heater and need to clean it. the holes where the tubes where connected have to be clean also but carefully. the metal is soft.so it bends. now put it all back. hope this helps. if you want to keep this from happening.the best way is to run clear water after you are done.this will remove any soap in the machine which will harden after the machine drys out. hope I helped .
and to mr. reddevil6 I am learning lots from you. Thanks

Thanks to many others who have posted on similar problems -- water
and/or solution sprays through the handheld tools, but not through the
As others have suggested, I removed the water reservoir, which exposes the 2 main water sprays mounted above the rollers. Using, pliers, I carefully slid the clips back. Gently but firmly removed the two red nozzles.
Elsewhere I have read suggestions to just do one nozzle at a time. However, I found out that if you remove both red nozzles, you can then blow through one side and it will come out the other. In my case, that dislodged a nice collection of crystal-like chunks (guessing it may be crystallized residue from the cleaning solution).
There was also a bit of blockage in one of the red nozzles, which I cleaned out. Make sure you can blow through both of them with little resistance.
Reassemble: Push red nozzles back into hoses. Using pliers, reposition sprung clip back over the red nozzle. Snap nozzles back into place. Refill tanks and power it up.
In my case, that resolved the problem of no sprays from the main machine. Sprays like new now. Hope yours does too!! g

I have a Proheat 2X and had the same problem. I tried the Water Rinse setting and found water came out and was suctioned properly, but on the Light Clean, Normal Clean, and Heavy Traffic settings, the unit failed to do anything. Problem may be with leaving the soap dispenser in-place, which might scum up the tubing.
SO, an alternative to throwing out my unit and buying somethign else was to put one capful of the Bissell soap in the water resevoir and keep the unit on Water Rinse. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY NOW. Don't know if this will help, but at least I didn't have to buy a new unit. Rinse everything after using and there's been no problem.

Inner bladder is needed to hold the fresh water for spray. Make sure the bladder is pulled through the bottom of the tank and that the black cap with a red rubber seal on the bottom of the tank.
If the black cap is missing you'll need to purchase a new one. Here's a quick link.
