Remove the black hub caps, then pull off the metal push nuts, then pull the wheels off, this will give you access to the motors and gear boxes, you'll then have to remove the two screws that hold the gearbox in, then you should be able to finagle the gearboxes out

Hi!
On these, only the 2 rear wheels are the gear wheels. You will just need to replace the tires on those with the rubber ones if you choose to go that way.  Good luck!

remove the center cap of the tire, the remove the metal push nut, then pull the wheel off, do not pull out the axle there are spacers by the gearbox that are on the axle

Peg Perego 12v John Deere tractor not working with LIFEPO4 battery.

They won't work with a Lithium battery. The controller circuitry doesn't understand this weird new battery. They don't work on electric kiddy bikes without changing the controller and then not all work as expected. They also don't work on full size motorcycles as a starting battery.
