Question about Ovens
Hi Ive had SO many problems with this inherited pile of rubbish. B&Q replace my oven last year eventually but this one is broke. I was cooking the other night - temp was 200, someone leaned against the oven and it was at the max! Easily done but apart from the dinner being prematurly burnt, the oven, its fan and the light were all out. FLATLINED. When messing about with it after i'dmins to let cool down, it all seemed to come to life again for a second, i turned the oven up from 0 to 200 and the thermonstat made a clicking noise around the 100 mark and thats when it all died again for good. Now is it possible to fix this? I would change the fuse except a harsh lesson learnt on previous cata oven proved impossible to access the fuse. The thermostat is now stiff where as before it died for the second time - it was super loose. Does it sound fixable to you? Thanks for help in advance. If you say SKIP the thing i will - gladly Theresa

I have the same oven with the same problem.
To resolve the problem you will need to replace thermal switch, which can be found at the rear of the cooker behind the protective cover. Approx at the bottom left corner. It looks like the shape of an eye with to wires. Hope this helps. Kevin Reseigh
