I know this is a old post but check all your connections.

There is a common issue with a lot of these recievers that have no output and typically it is the protection relays out to the speakers that fail. There is a person on ebay that sells these replacement relays. link is here. thanks http://www.ebay.com/itm/221121502953?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Carver mxr-900 one channel has no sound, anyone know where I can get a service manual or what is wrong with this?

Possible that the power amplifier has encountered a fault. all you need is to use a good multimeter to trace using the working channel as the guide and specified voltage rated. Also with the signal source detection the fault can be traced if it is associated with a distortion. If not a clear voltage check will confirm.

Behringer europower pmp1000, mixer unit, has all leds lit ,is responding to mic. input, bur is not producing any ourput to speakers, can you advise please.

ALL LED's should NOT be lit all the time. If thsy are, there is a failure in the power supply.

plug headphones into the 1/4 inch main output jacks on the top... you will only hear sound in the left side headphone for each. This would verify the preamp is working.

I have the following equipment and am going crazy trying to figure out how they get connected together. I also have the Carver Multi CD player and Carver Cassette Deck which I was able to connect to the...

Get a separate amp for the 901's and the rest falls into place.

1,2, 5) Place the 901 Active EQ between the pre/main front OUT of the receiver and the TFM-55X. Attach the 901's. Keep track of the jumpers you remove from the receiver. Or replace the jumpers with RCA splitter cables so you still have pre/main connection but can share the output with the TFM.

3) Pinnacle subwoofer (self-powered?) to the subwoofer out of the receiver.

4) Bose (AMS???) 5. As surrounds on the receiver. Place the sub module toward the rear so it mates sonically and directionally with them.

What? No center speaker? I'd get something more robust with bass capabilities, like a pair Bose 301 series 1's because the tweeters face in one direction only.

Except for the amps and the cube stuff that is essentially what I have. 6.1 with full-range speakers everywhere.

I have just bought a new bose 901 speaker system which included equalizer. I am not sure how to connect the equalizer to my receiver Denon 3808. I need help.

http://products.bose.com/pdf/customer_service/owners/901_guide.pdf

Be advised, this speaker system requires its own dedicated two channels of signal preamplification and power amplification and the required Active EQ is not to be used in the signal path of anything else. I have them as my Main Left and Right Speakers in a 7.1 set-up, but I'm using a 5-channel external Carver Power Amp to drive them, a sSb and the Rear Surrounds. The Active EQ is between the Receiver's Main L&R Preamp Outputs and the two Carver Amp channels that drive the 901's. Don't think you can just add the 901's into your living room and enjoy multichannel sound. Search around fixya, I have written extensively on this subject.

I don't have any instructions so i don't know how to hook up my speakers and the t.v for surround sound i have a carver avr 100

You should be able to online to the manufacturer of your products and download manuals. However, I will try to help.

Connect the sound output cables from your DVD player including, left/right(white/red) as well as the Coax output/input if your DVD and your Carver each have this feature for enhanced sound on certain DVDs, and connect to the matching DVD inputs on your Carver.

Then, connect your DVD video output either by use of your RGB(RED/GREEN/BLUE cables or an S Video cable to your the matching video inputs on your t.v.

On the back of your Carver, you will find outputs for left and right speakers, connect to the left and right speakers with proper wire. Make sure that the 2 conductor wire is connected with the same side(polarity) on all speakers for the best sound quality.

You will also find rear channel left and right outputs on your amp, connect those to your rear right and left speakers.

Connect the center channel speaker to the center channel speaker output on your amp.

If your Amp has a sub-woofer output and you have a subwoofer, make the connections on that as well.

Test all of the speakers with a feature that many amps have on the menu using your remote, simply called test. if all speakers are connected correctly you will be able to hear each one as they are individually tested by the amp. Hope this helps out.

Connecting NAD 314 Receiver\ preamp to Carver M-500t to speakers

Dear Tim,
Yes, you can connect your NAD as a preamp to the Carver power Amp.

Connect the NAD's pre-out to the input of the Carver Power Amp. You can then connect the Klipsch speaker to the Carver. Set the gain control on the NAD.

Now you should be able to control all the input and the main volume control from the NAD.

Ok, the MXR-130 has four power resistors on the tuner board that get EXTREMELY hot. The power connector for the tuner board is right under those resistors. The heat, constant expansion and contraction, and tarnish from heat may have worked the connector partially loose, or started some corrosion.
If you look through the top of the receiver, you'll see a big board that fills up most of the right side. That's the tuner. At the bottom (or front) left corner of that board, you'll se the resistors and connector. If it's like every other MXR 130 I've seen, it'll be noticeable that the board is quite toasted in that spot.
Cleaning that connector, and making sure it is seated firmly, may solve the problem. If not, let me know.
