Testimonial: "Thanks, This helps to play sound from my Samsung Tab but unfortunately the tablet doesn't have a 15 pin D sub vga connection. I am beginning to believe that I won't be able to play my photos/videos through my cinema system without removing the micro sdhc card each time and putting that in the sdhc card slot (with the necessary adaptor). I know that this works but it seems such a shame not to be able to connect the tablet directly - perhaps reviewers should bear this in mind when recommending non Ipod/pad equipment in future - I assumed it would all work the same."

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Playing ipod on samsung MME460D

I've just been struck down with this too on my newly purchased MM-E460D. I think I've worked it out, its just a poor description and manual. iPod mode" means choose the music off the iPod via a connected TV whereas "Remote iPod" is choose the music off the iPod via the Samsung remote and also directly from the iPod interface. I've been there for days trying to get "iPod mode" to work via the iPod interface.

When I connect my 120gig clasic ipod to the samsung HT TZ222 home cinema system the info from the ipod comes up on the tv as file 01 , 02 etc & the music files are random letters. i.e. I can not see...

I've managed to sort this problem (well sort of)
ipod can be connected to the usb connection BUT although you can play the music it's not completely compatable formats
the answer is to use a "Y cable" connecting to the earphone out put of the ipod to the 2 aux. (audio) connections on the home cinema

How do i connect a samsung home cinema system HT-TXQ120 to my laptop so that i can play music from my laptop out of my home cinema

Are you trying to hook up audio video or both? for video most likely your laptop uses s-video for that you just have to hook up the cable and set it up in your video settings on the laptop. Also do you have the model number of the laptop? Most likely you will want a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable. Then run that to the same audio input to correspond with the video input. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Lee

You have to press the AUX button and set the HTS unit to D. IN (DIGITAL IN)
AUX 2 only works for the regular red & white audio cables.

Hope this helps!

Connecting an iPod to a HT-Q100 Home Cinema System

If you connect an iPod via USB, the system will treat it as a hard drive and will use its (very basic) on-screen system to display your tracks.

I found the best way to get a result is to use a 3.5 (stereo) jack to RCA phono stereo input into the auxillary input on the back (side). To hear your iPod, select AUX on your Samsung and then select and play on your iPod. Bobs your uncle!!
