I've produced the link for the download, but firstly remove the audio driver and reboot before trying to reinstall the drivers. Make sure you have very little applications running in the background before trying this.

SOURCE: how to install north bridge
I'm not sure if I understand your question properly however if you're referring to northbridge installation to a motherboard this is not possible only the motherboard manufacturer can do this.

For the Dell Optiplex GX150 Desktop PC?
Motherboard chipset: Intel 815E
Northbridge chip: Intel 82815
Southbridge chip: Intel 82801BA
Under the subheading - Chipset - scroll down with your eyes to -
Look to the right.
You will see - 82815 - under - Part Numbers.
That is the Northbridge.
To the right of that, you will see - ICH2 - under Southbridge.
Scroll the page down, until you come to the BOLD heading -
Southbridge 8XX chipsets.
You will see ICH2 is Intel part number - 82801BA
The I/O controller hub is in the Southbridge chip.
I do not know what the Super I/O chipset is.
[ The Northbridge chip should be under a finned Heatsink. If so, you will not be able to see the Intel part number.
Looking at the motherboard as a map, with the Processor to the Top, and Ram Memory slots to the Right, the Processor is NORTH.
(Ram Memory slots are to the EAST)
Coming down the motherboard, the Northbridge chip is under the Processor.
Come down further, and slightly to the right, and you will see the Southbridge chip.
It has Intel 82801BA on it, with other Intel information ]
HOWEVER, here is a list of Super I/O chipsets,
[ It comes up to the Wayback Machine. Wait a couple of seconds, and the Super I/O chipset page will come up ]
If this is a general question about the Northbridge chip, Southbridge chip, and Super I/O chipset;
CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short.
The Processor communicates with the Northbridge chip, through the Front Side Bus. (FSB)
The Northbridge chip communicates with the Southbridge chip, through the Internal Bus.
The Southbridge chip communicates with the Super I/O chipset through the LPC Bus. (Low Pin Count Bus)
The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of a computer.
It handles the Processor, Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics.
AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port), and PCI-Express, are HIGH-speed graphics.
A graphics card inserted into a PCI slot, or Integrated Graphics, is
NOT high-speed graphics. This is handled by the Southbridge chip.
The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of a computer.
and Audio. (Sound)
This is more information on the Northbridge chip,
For more information on the Southbridge chip, simply left-click on the blue - southbridge, in the end of the first sentence.
(....the other being the southbridge)
You can also search the following in Wikipedia, by typing them in the search box to the upper right, and clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
