SOURCE: horizontal line comes with no picture when I switch on my tv (Videocon Bazoomba). What may be the problem?

The vertical sweep output section circuit to your TV is faulty. Check and replace all the electrolytic capacitors; 5 or 6 of them; at the vertical output section. Check for any loose solder terminals. Resolder the suspected solder terminals, by applying a little more fresh solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjecent solder terminals.

Videocon bazoomba tv not turning on, it takes many power switching on and off to turn on the tv

Check its horizontal output stage circuit for any short. Check the horizontal output transistor, for collector to emitter, of collector to base, leak. Replace it with a new one and check whether the newly replaced transistor gets too hot. If so, suspect the FBT. To get some details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.
