SOURCE: Transmission fell apart. Looking for blueprint to reassemble.

The transmissions come as an assembled unit and there are no drawings for the internals. If you can find an old drill that is no good, use it as a guide.
Hope this helps

Richard, test your battery with a digital volt meter, charged battery will show close to or over 15 volts, try another fully charged battery, borrow one if need be.

I have a DeWalt DC925 type 1 hammer drill, took it apart to repair switch and clean. Four pin bearings fell out,I don't see them on a parts diagram, where do they go ?

You will find them in the transmission, remove the metal cover and they will be located just under it - sounds like it is either the gear posts or the clutch cams on the nose side of the transmission DeWALT DC925 Type 1 Hammer Drill Parts

Drill fell and broke now trying to put it back together gears and all, require help

Unfortunately on that model they do not service any of the transmission parts separately so there is no exploded view. Here is the parts diagram. You may end up having to buy a new trans assembly.

I have 2 dewalt 18 volt hammer drills. The first one died about 2 years ago. The trigger seemed to mess up. I took it apart several times thinking I could fix it. I finally gave up on it. It's laid...

Hi, Take the drill apart using a star driver. When taking the chuck assembly from the yellow section have the drill chuch down to stop bits falling out. Once handle is apart popout the triggger assembly. Remove the two power leads from the assembly. Try a direct connection to the battery (polarity doesn't matter. If the motor goes it means that the trigger is U/S. Put a tester across the terminals (either set). You may have a short (as I had). It appears to me that the trigger is not user servicable. I used one from a DeWalt recip saw with a mod on the reverse lever. Works well.

Good luck.

The Instruction Manual can be downloaded from the following site:

If not your model number, enter the complete model number for your drill in the Find Parts field and click Search. A pgae should display with available downloads and parts.
