SOURCE: Delonghi Pinguino Classic Portable Air Conditoner Works for 30 min then red light comes on

Have it serviced. It cost me $250 to have a pro do it. Also, check the timer (the dial is hidden by a sliding cover on my unit). My husband cleaned it himself a year later and he took it apart to do it and it works much better now. When he opened it up, it was full of calcium deposit and dust. He told me he did not think the unit had been cleaned properly by the pro.

SOURCE: For the past two days I have had to reset the main

Bill, first thing, make sure the outdoor coil isn't stopped up with dirt. This will cause the compressor to overheat and possibly trip the breaker. If you you can check the amp draw that would be good. Look on the data tag on the outside unit and look for RLA or "running load amps". Running amp draw should never exceed this number, it should actually normally run 10% under RLA. If its real hot where you are like it is here (109) it will be running close to RLA.
If you coil is stopped up with dirt, etc., turn off the breakers, use you water hose and sprayer and carefully wash out the coil.
If all this fails, and your amp draw is good, change your breakers. Hope this helps , stay cool.. Mark

How to remove panels from air conditioner - Delonghi PAC A120LE

Hi there,

Are you referring to the from panel of the air conditioner?

Please look for screws or hinges on the side of the fron panel and once you've found them remove the screws or gently take off the the cover from the hinge. (you may have to use a flat head screw to remove the face cover if it's locked by a clip).

Hope this helps!

Hello, to protect my self from hackers I tried to look in the Internet for the best ways to protect my PC from hackers and I did see this way start - run - command.com - host ping - ping port - ping port...

Unless you are experienced in computers you should not play with the registry (ever)
Do a system restore to before you went in and changed things. If that does not work you will need to reinstall windows.
Having antivirus and firewall turned on should be fine to protect you from malicious hackers.

Have you tried to descale the unit? I have this unit and it requires descaling often due to the hardness of the water you are using in said unit.
