Sorry, no there isn't much you can do at a consumer level with this player, except, if you still have a manufacturer's warranty, taking advantage of it and sending the unit back for warranty repair/replacement (whichever they suggest to you). It is clearly malfunctioning, beyond user control - send it back as a warranty claim (if you still have one on this model). It won't cost you in repairs that way.

Don't put up with a defective product, send it back - get it fixed under warranty free of charge (if applicable), or the unit replaced (again, if under warranty, free).

It won't cost hundreds of dollars and shouldn't take forever to resolve this simple case. Good luck. This is something the manufacturer should worry about; not you.

SOURCE: I have an LG Art

The remote is fine, the batteries are new, the remote is giving signal. The remote is not communicating with the AC.On the split system front panel. There is a sensor in the internal side of the panel. This sensor detects the signal from remote. But if this sensor is weak or got faulty, then unit will work manually but not function as per remotes command. The front panel has to be removed by local ac repair tech and the panel sensor has to be checked.May be that sensor is got dirty or dust got covered on it or its got internally short. That has to be checked and confirmed.---------- But still if you have not tried with new brand battery, then before doing any thing just try with new brand battery and re-confirm that its not battery related issue.-------- --------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: My 2003 Saturn Ion remote trunk release won't

Check to make sure the button on the trunk latch is turned from manual unlock...they made that feature so only the key will work to open the trunk that way if someone breaks in the front of your car they can't hit the trunk release and get into the trunk...may be the same thing for your remote. Hope that helps.

Turn on but remote doesn't work

I would try new batteries first. If that doesn't help then replace the remote with a universal unit that you can program to work with your TV.

My Technika LCD32-229 is just over 12 months old and has suddenly decided not to respond to the remote or on/off control on the TV. If I turn of the power at the mains for 30 seconds or so, it will then...

HERE'S THE ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEM:

The possible reason why your TV doesn't respond to your remote is probably the battery of your remote. Maybe it has been used up to it's fullest capacity, so try checking it up. In case, it has been used up, try to buy a new one.

The possible reason why your TV doesn't stay on is still your remote control. Maybe you have accidentally set it to "sleep mode." When it is set into sleep mode, it turns on just for a shorter time. It cannot stay on longer.

So, here's what you've got to do. Check your remote. When the remote works already, press the sleep button remote again. I hope it works for you.

Thanks.

The door lock on driver side front doesn't work anymore with the remote, the other doors are working fine on a Lincoln Ls 2004

Try using the Keyless Entry Pad

If that won't open the drivers door,
then you will need a scan tool, to see
if it can comunicate with the DDM -
Drivers Door Module.

That may be a possible problem, if
everything else works

Hi mojogill,

It sounds like the receiver may be locked up. If the buttons on the front do not work, then try unplugging the receiver for 5 seconds and plug back in then check to see if everything is working fine.
