Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

This is a small telescope. You will get limited views with this scope. However you will be able to see the craters on the moon and the rings of saturn.Although they will not have any detail. You will be able to use it as a terestrial scope. For that it is ideal. You will need an erecting lens to turn the view right side up.You need atleast 1 eyepiece, finderscope, erecting lens(for terestrial views)and maybe a barlow lens.Keep in mind it is not magnification you are looking for it is the ability to gather light and a 50mm is not going to gather much.the bigger the objective lens the more light it will gather.Think of animals that come out at night, their eyes are bigger than those that are out in day light.Because the bigger the lens the more light it gathers,so magnification only plays a part if you can see the target with your light gathering ability.Because just like 1000x0 is 0 the same gos for telescopes.1000xblack is black..

You won't find a manual for that small telescope --- however Meade probably has one similar to yours-- go here and download a manual for free-

SOURCE: national geographic telescope NG 114mm 900 EQ

Manufacturer is unknown for this scope, but it probably originates in China and is resold with the National Geographic brand name, 150$ seems a little high for a used one. I would probably price it at 100-125$ depending on the condition and the included accessories, if any.

You will not find a manual for that imported telescope. NEVER buy scopes from Ebay, craigslist, or any of the big box stores unless you know what you are buying.

Most of them are imported and have NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

That is difficult Diane, because National Geographic are not the makers, it is just badged with their name and they sell it. I have looked and a number of people are looking for the manual for it.

You could ask them direct though?

I need a Manual for National Geographic NG114AZ as well as replace the adjuster for the erecting eyepiece. where do I get these>

I think you are asking for a replacement focuser. You can probably find one here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-5-or-6-Telescope-Reflector-Tube-1-25-Newtonian-Focuser-Metal-Plastic-NEW-/360936594869?hash=item54097f5db5

A manual is another question. These scopes are imported and no manuals are available. However the manual only has assembly instructions it does not tell you how to use the telescope to find objects in the night sky.

Find a local Astronomy Club and the members will help you set it up-- very easy once you see it done 1 time.

Clear skies.

I bought a used Canadian Geographic Geo 55 telescope and need a manual. Any ideas where to get one?

No one has a manual for that small telescope-- it's imported fropm overseas.

Here is a link to all of TASco's manuals-- find one that is similar to your telescope and use it.

Could you tell me if a National PE2057 flash gun will work with a pentex sp500 camera

I do NOT recommend this telescope. The eyepieces are plastic, the scope is on a small shaky tripod.

Stop looking at $69 telescopes. Read my TIPS on my profile page.

You will be frustrated with this scope, and it will quickly wind up in a closet or for sale on craigslist.com.
