Have u recently changed ur ink cartridge ? If so the printer is printing an alignment page . Turn it off then on , so it prints the alignment page. load the alignment page on the scanner glass and press the "Scan" button to complete the alignment. Once the alignment has completed the alignment page will not be printed again until you change the next cartridge. See your user manual for details.

Hi my printer will not print. it is saying printer spool error.

> spool error

S.P.O.O.L. == Simultaneous Peripheral Output On Line

The "spool" is a combination of disk-space on your 'C:' drive, and software to "accept" the print-image (as fast as MS Word can create the print-image), and save the print-image to disk-space,
so that MS Word can report "print completed", so that you can use MS Word, instead of waiting until the physical printing has completed.

Then, the printer-spooling software will read from the print-image file, and send it to the printer, only as fast as the printer will accept it.

I have a xerox dc12 with error message please turn machine off and on again 9-363 have tried several times but no good! what else can I do?

That's a process problem with that machine.
May require a service call .ON and OFF is pretty much all a customer can do and wait for it to setup.
NOTE: The problem occurs because of the trickle development system in the machine, making extended lengths of black and white copies / prints does not allow the black developer housing to purge itself of excess waste Toner (Dry Ink) and Developer. There are two solutions for the problem:
  • Make 1,000 copies / prints of a black and white job, then make 150 copies / prints of full color. Continue making 1,000 copies / prints of the black and white job, then 150 full color, and so on, until the entire black and white job is complete.
  • Make extended jobs in groups of 100 by making 100 copies / prints of the black and white job, then allowing the machine to cycle down (return to 'Ready') and making the next 100 copies / prints. Continue in this pattern until the entire black and white job is complete.

In starting 1 page print

Hi,

I believe that after changing the ink cartridge you havent completed the alignment process. This Alignment test page will print everytime you turn the printer ON.To Complete the alignment follow my steps.

1.After turning the printer ON, wait untill the printer prints the Alignment test page.

2.Then place the alignment test paper on the scanner, facing down in a correct position.

3.Then press the Scan button(color) and wait untill the printer ON light stops flashing.

4.After the light stops flashing, take the paper out and the alignment process is completed.

Turn OFF and turn On the printer, it will not print the Test page again.try it and please let me know.Would really appreciate your rating for my solution.

Thanks
Riz.
