SOURCE: Blanco Faucet Side Sprayer

It may be a result of extreme temperature changes from the time you tightened the shank until the time it broke however this is very unlikely.Typically the shank only needs to be tightened until it is stationary and immovable by normal operating stresses which is a very low torque value. As a general rule of thumb I use finger tight and an additional quarter turn. I once used epoxy and a short nipple to resolve the same issue but I had the advantage of having a pipe threading machine to fabricate the perfect size nipple and used a large washer and coupling to finish it off. If you try a new shank try tightening it as little as possible and I believe this will resolve the issue. Thanks for using Fix Ya and I hope this is of assistance to you.

SOURCE: remove water saver device from Blanco Grace kitchen faucet

Remove the aerator at the end of the spout. It will unscrew and once off it will have a dime sized restricter in it that can be removed this restrict's the water down to about 1.6 gpm to save water.
It will either be plastic or metal and about the size of a dime with a small holw in it to let water pass by maybe 1/8" hole just remove it and put aerator back together.

Clean aerator screen out before you put it back together.

http://www.plumbersurplus.com/pdf/07163.pdf This link has a breakdown of parts. Look at parts 8b-10 for aerator breakdown.

I have a blanco kitchen faucet that is about 5 years old. it seems to be leaking from inside the unit itself , problem is , trying to figure out how to get it apart to repair it.

behind the handle there should be an allen screw under a crome cap . once you reove the screw the upper metal ring should just unscrew then there are a series of o rings that can be replaced

good luck James

I have a single handle blanco classic that is leaking around the base I have removed the handle and cartridge but cant figure out how to remove the sprayer to replace the seal

You need to turn the water off under the sink. Disconnect the sprayer hose from the threaded shank under the center of the faucet body. Pull the spray head out of the faucet. Contact Blanco to receive your faucet parts free.

Yes, it will be a small allen key that needs to be loosened before you can remove the handle.

Try removing cap of knob and tighten screw it could be loose. If that is not it it may need a new seal ring.
