Cuisinart DGB-300 coffee maker: Where can one get the Brew Pause valve on bottom of the Grinder/Filter Basket? (It stops flow of coffee from basket when carafe is removed from heater plate, so a cup can be poured in mid-brew.) I dropped the basket and broke off the valve. All I need is that small part. Cuisinart hasn't answered my question.

- After I asked my question Cuisinart replaced the brew basket free. Was it a act of a kind service person, or a known defect replacement?
I just called Cuisinart and they will send me another brew basket for my DCC-100 (it has a Brew Pause valve also) for $9.14 (part + S&H). Did you try to contact Cuisinart?

I have a Cuisinart DGB-300 Grind and Brew Coffeemaker. The automatic grind is not working. I have follwed the steps in the manual. It doesn't make any noise as if attempting to grind. The grind processed is by-passed going straight into the brew mode. We used the non-grind for about 2 weeks. Thank you.
