SOURCE: general electric

Hi,

Initially the only easy user action possible is to check/clean the battery contacts/terminals.

If still a no go, you need to check for any loose or open wiring from the battery compartment to the PCB. That would mean opening the unit and having a look & see inside. You need to be familiar with electronic components and circuitry, DVM and possibly a soldering iron. You need to look/check the power switch, voltage regulator, reverse protection diode, zener diode, fuse/fusiblelink-resistor, open foil/trace and any other components associated with the power supply/regulation.

If this does not solve the problem, your best bet would then be to seek the assistance of a qualified communications technician.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things worked out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

My ipod touch wont connect

There are firmware updates available for this router available at the SMC Support Web Site.
Follow the link to "Firmware" under "Support" on the left-hand side. Apparently there are two different part numbers associated with the SMC2804WBR model number. Check the label on the router to determine which part number is yours.
Download the firmware update and apply the update according to the user manual, which is also available at the link above.
If this does not resolve the issue, then this router may be outdated and unable to support your iPod Touch.

I jus was wondering, can the cb radio and the handheld radio transmit on the same channel? Im a security officer and im interested in purchase a cb radio so we can use it at work but i dont know if its...

CB radios and hand-held CB radios can operate on the same channel and be in contact with each other. Other hand-held radios do not operate on the same frequencies and even though they may have channel numbers the channels have different frequencies and will not operate to CB radios.

I've got a 2001 Dodge Intrepid and it came with no Manual. I need to know what all of the buttons are for above the front window rear view mirror. And that's all! Thanks a lot!

According to the manual the buttons are for the HomeLink Universal Transceiver which replaces up to three remote controls hand held transmitters) that operate devices such as garage door openers, motorized gates, or home lighting. It triggers these devices at the push of a button.

Open gurage door with the built in remote in the car

To Reprogram A Single Button

1. Press & hold the desired universal transceiver button. Do not release the button until Step 4 has been completed.
2. When the dot(s) under the HomeLink icon being to flash slowly (after 20 seconds), position the hand-held transmitter 1-3" away from the universal transceiver surface.
3. Press & hold the hand held transmitter button.
4. The universal transceiver light will flash, first slowly and then rapidly. When the indicator light begins to flash rapidly, release both buttons.

The previous programming for the button has now been erased and a new device has been programmed to the button.

Repeat for any other buttons you want to do for other devices.
