Clarke 180en changing to tweco tourch w/o gas value in torch

I need toget a wireing diagram or schematic for a 180en. i need to verify the voltage needed for a gas silonoid since the tweco needs it in the control instead of at the torch.. i was going to cut it in before the regulator board for the wire feed motor, triggered by the button on the torch. i think its 24vdc. SOURCE: I need to know if you can replace a clarke lead

There are many different welding leads available. Usually leads in machines like the Clarke are generic Italian made. Check with www.weldingdirect.com they have a buch of different leads. The part you need to be concerned with is insode the welder, where it connects to the machine. If you have other questions email me at stevestoolrepair@yahoo.com

SOURCE: WIRE FEED WILL NOT WORK ON 180EN, PULLING TRIGGER

Check your wire speed theostat (potentiometer), that could be the reason there is no power for the motor drive.

Hi:
It will be better to adapt a new gun. Go to your nearest Praxair (www.praxair.com) store and ask for a tweco mini gun with a clarke adapter. Tweco accesories are available at ALL welding stores and it's a cheap gun also.
