Turn ignition key on and off around 5 times or till you here the alarm then hit the left and right button on fob till you here the alarm again then it is set. if you have 2 remotes you need to do them both at the same time.

Not a complete solution but something to try .Using the key lock and unlock the vehicle from the drivers door .Some models in UK have an arm switch on the lock barrel in the door which sticks.

hold down both buttons on the remote till they stop flashing, then press left then press right, this will recode the remote to the alarm. if this dont work try new batteries, if not then find an engineer.

Your system is in valet mode. Depending on the brand and model, the procedure to turn off valet mode will differ. It can be as simple as flipping the switch or pressing a button. Or require a more complex set of steps that may involve the ignition switch and a combination of presses of the valet switch.
