The E5 error code is only referenced by a technician. More than likely it refers to a circuit board problem. Only solution is to have it replaced by a technician.
Perhaps something as simple as cleaning the sensor strips inside the dryer so that moisture can be detected better by the control would help. That is what I would try. The sensors are metal strips below the filter inside the dryer.
Hello, Before you replaced all those parts did you check each with a multimeter by performing an ohms test or measuring for continuity? By doing this it would tell if any of the parts that you had replaced were at fault. You can also conduct the same test on the heater as well. when performing any ohms or continuity test make sure the unit is unplugged and that you also unplug the part as well from the wires that are connected to it. It is actually error code "tS" which stands for thermistor shorted. The control interprets it as an extremely low resistance which is a result of a the dryer overheating. Locate the thermistor on the blower housing and replace it. Click on the link below and refer to the parts diagram then look for item number 27(thermistor).
