Error 9 is most commonly triggered by worn motor brushes. I would suggest checking and possibly replacing the motor brushes. When you are changing them, it is strongly suggested to use a commutator stone before installing the new brushes. This allows for a new surface for the new brushes to contact.

Are you getting any error codes. Usually no belt movement is bad or short motor brushes. I would start there first.

Cybex 530t error 6

Error 6 is a motor over voltage error. Motor voltage exceeded 200 VDC for 200 milliseconds. This can be caused by a worn deck and belt due to a lack of routine maintenance. AKA adding wax between your deck an belt. You might be able to wax your machine and make the error go away. More than likely a new deck and belt will be needed. Using the link below and your model and serial number, you can find the needed items. In worse case scenario, you may also need a new motor control board.

Error 1 is a no speed signal at startup error. With or without belt movement? Check the Speed sensor, lower board, or brushes as a possible solution to this error code.
