Unit on but then iys shutting down

Are you positive that the battery is good? Turning on for a few seconds and then shutting down is a classic symptom of a battery that did not take a proper charge and as soon as the surface charge is used, unit will shut down. And what if your charger is not properly charging the battery?

If you have a battery eliminator try that in lieu of the battery to see what happens.

It's not loading correctly. You need to open the cover (unplug first) and get familiar with the loading mechanism. You can get the tape out by rotating the loading motor wheel.

"Remove the power plug. Hold the RED X button for few seconds" by doing this procedure, unit will shut down but if you got a bad external battery it will shut down right after you unplug the power or will not shut down completely. If you still need help call (775)358-2922 ask for Randy. Thanks

Some times the new part is bad. If you put the old one in do all the new symptoms go away if they do take the part back.

check for correct oil level in sump as indicates low oil sensor is shutting it down
check replace low oil sensor unit

Try this open the steam valve when turning the machine on, if that works then the vent valve needs to be replaced, or the p.stat is damaged.

This means that one (or maybe more) of the amplifiers is shorted. Remove all speakers cables and try again. If you get the same message that means that one (or more) amplifiers is fried. To find which and why you will have to open the unit and test the amplifiers.
