How do I replace/repair an internal light bulb in an electrolux dishwasher?

Thank you for your post, Corey!

From the information you have posted you need to replace the internal light bulb in your Electrolux dishwasher. In order to assist you properly I would need to have your model number. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside left hand wall of your dishwasher. Once I have that additional information I would be able to provide you with proper instructions on how to replace the bulb. I look forward to assisting you further. -Matt

Blanco dishwasher

Dishwashers do not usually complete the cycle if the water temperature is not adequate for the wash program selected. This could be due to inlet hot water not at correct temperature if dishwasher uses hot water or the heater or thermostat within dishwasher being faulty and not able to heat the inlet cold water to the right temperature. Try to run the dishwasher with the rinse or quick wash (low temperature) setting and see if it completes. Might help if you post the Model number in the comments field.

Error code E3 on Samsung DMS500TRW dishwasher

3E error in Samsung dishwashers normally relates to high temperature error. This means the dishwasher is detecting over 80deg C water temperature. However if it is 5E that means drain error. If your dishwasher is draining correctly then please check the error again.

The water temperature get to hign

The F-22 wash tank heater is controlled by a thermostat that opens or close a relay located in the control panel on the right. the thermostat is located inside the machine next to the wash tank. the thermostat is fixed position and can not be adjusted. the temperature should be 170F max. The thermostat has a bulb attached by a wire. this wire is actually a tube and the bulb is filled with an oil that expends when heated. the bulb is inserted in a cavity in from of the wash tank. You can access this by removing the front panel. If the bulb is not in the cavity, it will produce alot of heat. if the "wire" is broken or just simply the thermostat has become defective than it should be replaced. Search by part number or description

Hobart L30 show code P3 and tempreture rises high Very quickly before it finsh filling

P3 refers to one of the dishwasher's three temperature sensors: sump temperature, booster heater temperature, or rinse water temperature. The dishwashers control circuitry has determined one of them is open or shorted, or at least out of range.

Judging from the symptom you mentioned, that you see rapid temperature reading changes before it finishes filling, I'd say it's probably the sump probe (because that's the temperature displayed during the fill cycle), located under the large removeable screen inside the dishwasher.

To test or replace, remove the small access panel at the lower front of the dishwasher (2 screws).
After the dishwasher has reached a good normal operating temperature, unplug the sump probe connector (white plastic connector with two small black wires going to it and coming from the area mentioned above where the temp. probe is. Using a multimeter, test the resistance of the probe. If the water in the dishwasher is hot (150 deg. F or more), you should read somewhere in the area of 5,000 to 10,000 ohms. If your measurement varies significantly from this range, replace the probe- most likely you'll see a reading near zero ohms or a very high reading, possibly an open-circuit probe (infinite resistance i.e. "OL" indicated on most multimeters).

It's possible I'm wrong about which temp. probe P3 refers to. There is also a temp. probe on the booster heater and one on the rinse piping on the rear of the dishwasher. Test procedure is the same for all of them, although the probe on the rinse piping is not constantly subjected to hot water so testing at room temperature would result in higher resistance value (lower temperature means higher resistance for these temperature probes).

My dishdraw takes twice as lond as it should to complete a cycle

It would help if you provided the dishwasher make and full model no.

Usually the dishwasher can take longer if the water temperature is not correct. If you are using hot water connection then make sure the inlet water temperature is at the correct temperature.

If you are using cold water connection then check if your dishwasher is designed for cold water inlet. The dishwasher heater could be playing up.

Please rate this solution to help fixya serve you better in future.

Water pumps in & out ok. Nothing happens between those 2 phases.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:
Water-heating cycle
Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next depends, as follows:

On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

Timer
Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Can you tell me what temperature the dishwashers reach during each part of cycle--Dishwasher model is WDF902SA Food authority have asked this of me

Hello,
The wash temperature for a high temperature commercial dishwasher should be around 140F AND 160F. The final rinse temperature should be 180F to meet health code regulations. The final rinse temperature is reached during the end of the cycle for a few seconds. If the machine is a low temperature dishwasher the wash temperature and rinse temp will be around 140 F to 160 F. The sanitizing of your warewash will be done by the use of chlorine or iodine in the low temp application.
