How do I lift the food dogs on my Janome 344lx. They are down and I don't know how to get them up so I can sew the material

Perhaps a manual would be hlepful:

Janome Machine Manuals
This is the 344 without the LX, but it possibly is close enough to your machine to be useful. You can probably check with the vendor before ordering.

The feed dog lever could be the button on the bottom right of the machine. If not, then it is most likely hidden under the removable cover of the free arm.

How do I stop the "pings" when I raise and lower the presser food on my Artista 200? I do not want any noise !!

I agree, it should not make noise. Does it ping when you are sewing or just when changeing presser foot?
Owner's manual? troublechecking section. When did you last lubricate as recommended?
If ping is only at the movement of the presser foot I suggest it needs a little oil. Otherwise, I have found the thread cutter device is catching on something and needs to be repositioned so it doesn't catch.

What do hermit crabs eat?

  1. You can feed a combination of pelleted Hermit Crab food, as well asfruits, such as chopped apples, grapes and bananas, and vegetables, including dark green leafy ones like kale and broccoli. Pellet-type food can be crushed into powder to feed small Hermit Crabs. Feed one teaspoon for small crabs.

Foot control will not work machine just stoped mid stich

Try using the Start/Stop button instead. It works just like the food pedal. You might like to bring the speed down first or else it will take off like a rocket when you press the button! You hit the button again when you want to stop. Sounds like you might need to replace the food pedal - unfortunately an expensive item. Try taking it out of the machine, coiling up the cord, uncoil it and re-insert being sure to push the plug in firmly. Check along the length of the foot pedal cord to see if there are any cuts in the cord. If there are, it will definitely need replacing.

I have an AEG Phoenix Juicer with no manual. Just used it for the first time in 2 years and can't figure out how to remove the grinding basket so that I can clean it. HELP!

The last solution posted to me (the rather insulting one) told me to look for a lever or release mechanism. I had OBVIOUSLY already done that. After sleeping on it I decided to try messing with the grinding blade (there were to drainage hold inm which I placed the tyne of a fish fork) and trying to rotate it in the opposite direction of the basket. Lo and behold it unscrewed and came apart for cleaning. No release lever or mechanism.
