SOURCE: My Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 was working

I was having this issue also, with Vegas 8.0a and DVDA 5.0. Found an answer that worked for me on another forum. I think I unstalled Visual Basic C++ 2005 Redistributable when I uninstalled an audio-networking program. Here is the link that fixed it:

Once I reinstalled this, I didn't even need to reboot. Vegas & DVDA were able to start immediately.

SOURCE: installed a new hard drive

You have to have the original software to reinstall a program. Just tranferring the files does not work. By default windows must complete the setup process through windows installer.

ITunes Error 13010 - How to correct this error in iTunes

As with any application in any operating system in this high tech computer industry today, there is always going to an error of some kind. How that error can be eliminated, is always the principal concern of any computer user of a Mac or PC.

One of the errors I would like to provide a tip for you, on how to resolve, is the "Error 13010" error message, which affects users of iTunes in Mac OS X.

The Error 13010 alert, will usually appear when a user is unable to launch and open iTunes. More often than not, however, the fix for this error is a relatively easy one.

Here are steps for you can implement to eliminate this error:

For Mac OS X

• Make sure iTunes application is closed.

• Click anywhere on the blank space of your desktop and Finder will appear near the Apple menu icon located in the upper left corner of your screen.

• From the Finder menu click on Go> then select Go to Folder

• You will need to type /Users/td7/Music/iTunes in the open dialog

• This will take you directly to your iTunes folder.

• Within iTunes folder, locate and remove to the Trash,
the iTunes Library Genius.itdb. file

Once you have removed this file, close the Finder window and relaunch

Launching iTunes will restore a new iTunes Library Genius.itdb file
and as a result, no longer see the Error 13010 alert message.
In the event that this procedure does not allow you to launch iTunes normally, you should remove iTunes and re-install the application.

But don't worry though, you will not lose your iTunes Library, as that remains untouched in the Music folder.

You are simply going into your Applications folder and removing iTunes application and then reinstalling it.

Here is the link for downloading and re-installing iTunes, as needed:
Download iTunes '09 for Mac

So now you have at least one workaround, from a number of iTunes errors, should it manifest, which you can use to resume normal functionality of your iTunes application.

I will be providing more tips in future articles covering workarounds like this, for the various error codes which can affect the functionality of either the Mac OS X platform or any applications installed within its volume.

As always, I hope this information proves beneficial to you in some way, if not now, in the future, should such an error like this adversely affects your iTunes application.

Thanks for reviewing this Mac OS X Fixya Tip.

When you exit Acrobat 7, Acrobat returns the error message,"the application is being terminated because of memory corruption."

Do one of the following solutions:

If you have Acrobat 7.0, choose Help > Check For Updates Now to install the update. Alternately, you can download the update from the Adobe website at .

Solution 2: Remove the files from theAcrobat Organizer folder.

Solution3: Remove the files from the Updaterfolder.

You may receive this error message after a failed update, indicating that the files in the Updater folder are corrupted.

To remove the files from the Updater folder:

ProPix won't open, I get the error message"Failed to initialize Audio Library". Thai never happened before, please help Bob

Your application's "audio library" may contain one/some corrupted files or some files are missing or have been deleted recently by mistake. Your first option is to restore your system to the previous state when it was working. If this doesn't help, run a full system virus scan using an updated antivirus and reinstall/repair the program.
I would also suggest you to do a clean install after possible backup of the library.
Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Search google for smv.dll. A lot of people have this problem and apparently the manufacturer says you need to remove the current version completely and then download the latest version which fixes the problem from the manufacturer's website.

Corel x2 problem: Unable to Load Library when sharing to VCD

Hey everyone, I faced the exact same, excruciatingly frustrating problem. After a quick search, I found forum threads telling me that when Corel Video Studio was modified to suit Vista, something about its 3D transitions got messed up.

So, if you face this problem while using Corel Video Studio on Vista, check that you have removed all 3D video transitions and try rendering again.
