My Child Pad won't come on. My dad thinks it's something to do with the screen but I'm not so sure. Why won't it come on and how can I fix it?

I think I may be able to help you. So the same prob;e came with my childpad. Just remember as long as it does not work have the password with you. Because my works now but I forgot the password. So I opened the back blue thing. And then I figured that the charging thing was to loose. So, I just have to make it so that the charger won't come out, so some how my dad make it tighter. But I think that might be the problem with yours as well. If you have a solution to my problem (forgot password) please email me at Thanks!! And I hope it helped in some way :)

I have a dell XPS M1330 and its screen is loose. For e.g. if I am in a car / bus using my laptop, the screen tends to fall backward or forward. How can I tighten the screen?

I would try to look around the screen and see if there is any screws to tighten. Just try a few screwdrivers, and gently tighten the screws, with ought pulling to hard. If they are too tight, the laptop won't close. Don't be too invasive, if you have to take anything beyond the battery case off, you can screw up and destroy you hard-earned laptop.
Hope this helps!

I pulled the screen down all the way and am not able to release it to make it go back up. It seems to be stuck.

In most cases when the screen is pulled too far you can get it to release by giving a quick tug and releasing it quickly. It could take several tries to get it to retract but it should. Remember to give it a sharp, quick tug, more like a snap and release.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Da Lite projector screen will not retract. It is pulled all the way down

After pulling the screen down to the desire length, The mechanism will lock itself once you stop pulling.

To retract it, you need to pull the cord down again and allow the screen to retract on its own. The screen will retract rapidly at first but will slow down to a gentle stop when it reaches the case.

Try it.

I have a grandview elegant electric projection screen and when I retract it, it stops about a foot below the case and won't retract entirely into the casing. Help please.

Electric screens are just about the same as a garage door opener. They have a up and down limit setting. Usually screens will have the motor on the left as you look at the sceen, this is where the limit switch ajustment screws are. If they are labeled great, if not hopefully they are obvious to see on the motor or roller. Hope this helps.
