Unclogging my printer it does not print

I have an epson stylus cx6600 printer and it wont print. i just got brand new cartridges and it still wont print. i think it is clogged how can i unclog it? or do you have any other ideas? thank you very much renee The link in the solution would not work. I am having the same problem (but with my cx 3810) and have NO clue how to clean the tubes or even check if they are attached. I tried looking and couldn't see a thing. Please help. I can't afford a new printer and don't want to waste any more ink on cleaning the nozzles which happens everytime I am done moving the cart. around. Thanks!

sell it on ebay and get a lazer printer, you'll make up you money in a year cause you don't have to waste your time or money on ink.

Do this with a little bit of care, put your mouth on the little hole on the side of the cartridge while covering the other one the on the same side and ~blow~ some strong air in just enough to get the ink out of the nozzles.

if that does not work, next time save money and get you a refill kit like this from amazon.com ( I don`t work for them)

How to reset epson stylus cx6600 cartege chip

there is a tool to reset the print counter on epson ink cartridge chips, but this tool can only be obtained when you are an authorised service provider for epson. and even then it is not advised to use it, since resetting these chips can cause damage to your printer's system board, the replacement of which costs almost as much as the price for a new printer of the same model.

My cx6600 has new ink cartridges and acts like it is printing but the pages come out blank!

Try taking a new cartridge out and shaking it ( with your finger over the hole that the ink comes out) and then put it back in.  Also make sure that the tape that is over some cartridges' printing area has been removed.

Not printing

Epson requires that you replace empty cartridges with their branded replacements.
Otherwise your printer wont function.

Cx6600 printer problem

if you left your printer for two weeks or more without using, the print heads may be stuffiness. In this case (aparently yours cases) you must take your printer to a authorized service, they will can clean (with a proper fluid) or replace the ink heads, if cleaning is not possible.

Unclogging my printer it does not print

I can sympathize with your problem. I spoke to an "honest" sales rep at a leading electronics store and he suggested to clean the nozzles with a high concentration of rubbing alcohol, something on the order of 90%. Don't know if this will help but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Good luck!
