The led on the front won't light, and I have power connected, but nothing. Is there a reset somewere?

I am assuming you are trying to power up an installed motherboard, based on the category selection. You say that you have power connected. That means that you have connected the 20 (24) pin main connector and the 4 or 8 pin CPU power connector to the motherboard. Have you connected the front panels controls to the motherboard header? There are connections for the power switch, power LED, HDD LED, reset switch (optional). They must be connected in order for the motherboard to start. THe HDD and Power LED connections are polarity-based, so if you hook them upo backwards, their respective LED will not light. The HDD LED plug is usually red and white with the red being on the positive (+) terminal. The Power LED plug is usually green and white with the green wire going to the positive terminal. The power switch and reset switch wires can be connected either way as they are not polarized.

MY BOSCH DISHWASHER DOES NOT TURN ON. IT HAS POWER GOING TO IT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A WIRING DIAGRAM.?

If you are certain there is 120 volt power connected at the terminals (loose connections do happen), then check the door switch and control. If those parts are working (and it has power) then at least an indicator light would glow. The most likely problem is a loose connection at the power connections where the house wiring connects to the dishwasher. Many instances of this failure have been found. You can also try disconnecting the existing power and connecting to another power source (a heavy extension cord) to see if that makes a difference.

Connecting powered subwoofer

The powered sub should only be connected to the unit if the amp has a socket for a powered sub. If the sub is connected via the normal speakers it could be triggering the protection. If it has no dedicated powered sub output. Then you will have to get an un-powered sub, which can be connected via the speakers connection and shouldn't trigger it.

I have d-link DIR600 router. When i am using my ethrnet cable to my pc it is working fine but when i am trying to use it with DIR 600 router it is not even detect internet connection

Most likely the cable modem is currently locked on the MAC address of the PC. Try the following:
  1. Power off the system, the power off the router (Unplug Power connection) and Unplug the Cable Modem power connection.
  2. Wait 3 minutes
  3. Power on the cable modem and let it completely reset.
  4. Power on the Router, making sure the cable modem is connected to the UPLINK port of the Router.
  5. Power on the system, making sure it is connected to any of ports 1 through 4
  6. Normally, this will resolve.
If issue persists, Right click the local area connection and Click REPAIR

Where do I connect the SATA power cable to on the motherboard

Only the SATA data cable connects to the motherboard, the SATA power cable is connected to a cable from the Power Supply Unit (PSU) if you do not have any of the SATA power cables on your PSU you can get MOLEX to SATA power cable converters (MOLEX is the "fan power connecters")

Toshiba satellite a215 loses connection with power cord

The fault could be the adapter plug (a broken wire at the plug) that connects into the laptop or a faulty power socket on the laptop. In most cases it is the power socket on the laptop, it could be just a dry solder joint in the circuit board where the power socket is soldered on the motherboard or the power socket is faulty and therefore needs to be replaced.
Check power adapter’s DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard.
This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

Power cables loses wireless connection on Acer Aspire 5100

Hi,

please check your power configuration profile under control panel.
the device might be disabled when the power input is on.

If you are using, Acer's e-manager then you can confirm there as well if the device is disabled under Power on mode.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

I’m attaching a wiring diagram which hopefully isreadable. I’ll also list the “where to”instructions for all of the other wires. It’simportant that several wiring steps be done in a particular order.

About the Memory Wire:

The memory wire is Yellow and should be connected to the +12 V power terminal (which isenergized at all times). First besure to connect the black ground (earth) lead to a metal surface of the car.

Important…
>>Before making connections, turn the stereo unit and carignition off to avoid short circuits.
>>Connect the yellow and red power input leads onlyafter all other leads have been connected.
>>The power antenna (aerial) control lead (blue)supplies +12 V DC when you turn on the tuner.

Hope this helps. Lemme know if you have more questions or would like me to email you acopy of the owner’s manual.

Thanks, and take care.

Gail :-)

LAPTOP /no power

It states you are not getting no power on your lap top computer :

No power or computer does not turn on Cause: No power from the computer can be caused by any of the below possibilities.
  1. Connections not connected properly.
  2. Third-party hardware.
  3. Bad power cable.
  4. Incorrect power supply.
  5. Bad battery.
  6. Bad power supply, power button, and/or power board or inverter.
Solution: Note: If the computer is turning on but is not posting (beeping) or giving any type of picture on the display, please see document CH000607. If you are uncertain if the computer is turning on or not, this can be easily checked by locating any fans in the computer or visible from the outside of the computer. If these fans are spinning, the computer is receiving power and this document may not apply to your issue. Connections not connected properly Verify that the power connection is connected properly to the wall and the back of the computer. If the connections appear to be connected properly, attempt to disconnect and reconnection both ends of the cable. If you have a power strip (surge protector) or switch used to turn everything on at once, temporarily disconnect the computer from that switch and connect that cable directly to the wall. This will help verify that the strip or switch is not bad. Verify that the outlet works by connecting a different component to that switch.
Third-party hardware If additional hardware has been recently added to the computer it is recommend that you temporarily disconnect that device or devices from the computer to verify they are not preventing your computer from turning on. Note: If the computer was working fine before you added the new hardware, removing the third-party hardware did not resolve the issue, and the computer is not beeping but is turning on, please see our POST troubleshooting document CH000607.
Bad Power cable Verify that the cable supplying your computer is not bad or damaged by using another power cable. If you have a standard CRT monitor, this cable can be used in place of the computer power cable. If you have a portable computer or laptop, when the cables are plugged into the laptop you should see a power light or battery charge light. If this light is seen, this is a good indication that the power cable is good.
Incorrect power supply If you are building your own computer or if the computer has never turned on since you purchased it, it is possible you are using a power supply that does not supply enough power and/or the incorrect type of power supply. Verify your power supply meets the requirements of your motherboard and processor.
Bad battery If your computer is a laptop or portable computer that utilizes a battery for mobility it is possible that the battery may be causing your issue.
  • If your computer powers on when the cable is connected to the portable computer but not when it is disconnected, we recommend you purchase a new battery.
  • If your computer does not power on when the battery is connected and when the power cable / charger cable is connected, try removing the battery and seeing if the computer can power on with only the power cable connected. If no power is still received, skip to the final section.
Bad Power Supply, power button, and/or power board or inverter If, after following the above sections, your computer still receives no power, it is likely that a hardware component in the computer has failed. It is most likely that the power supply has failed. If you do not plan on replacing the power supply yourself or if you have a portable computer, we recommend having the computer serviced by your computer manufacturer or a local computer repair shop. If you have a desktop computer and plan on trying to repair the computer yourself, we recommend you replace the components in your computer in the below order.
  1. First open the computer and verify the power connections. You may also wish to consider disconnecting the main power cable and reconnecting the power cable to make sure it has not become loose. Also verify the power button cable is correctly connected to the Motherboard.
  2. Replace the power supply with a new power supply.
  3. Replace the motherboard.
Good Luck,Please dont for get to Vote,Thank You
