Samsung YP-T9J, 4G, MP3 player crashed after i downloaded a couple songs from mp3 fiesta. www.mp3fiesta.com hasalways worked for me except for this time when it downloaded a different way. But my mp3 player still worked but then it suddenly crashed and went black after about 5 hours, it wouldn't turn on, or charge. It wasn't on hold or anything, it just randomly died on me.
-   I was loading on songs and I pulled the plug out on accideent then I plugged it back in real fast and then a message popped up on my computer saying 'one of the usb ports was malfunctioning check connection'. So I pulled the mp3 player out and my screen started to blurr. Now it is all grey fuzzy. My mp3 player is an e280 8gb. It has never done this before and I got it for my birthday not even 9 months ago.-   Guest

I don't have experience of your actual model, but I've had a similar thing happen to my Inovix MP3/4 player when it crashed (also crashing my whole computer!) and went completely 'dead'.
Plugging it into the USB port had no effect - no charge symbol and the computer didn't even acknowledge something was being plugged in.
Basically, I kept on trying every time I was on the computer! 2 days later, I plugged it in and 'ding-dong' Windows XP recognised something was in the USB port.
I then carried out a Firmware re-load using the supplied disc, and my player burst into life!
Firmware crashes are pretty common with various players, I believe. Depending on how old your player is, try the manufacturer's website to see if they've updated the Firmware.
