SOURCE: About my On Board Video Card

here is the manual if you need it http://dlsvr05.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4ge-mx/e1862_p4ge-mx.pdf although it sheds no light on the video memory issue. if you go into device manager, select the display adapter and right click on it for properties. you should see a "resources" tab which will give you the memory adresses allocated. You can change these although unfortunately I don't know what limits you can change them within for your board, usually they would be set to the maximum that the driver will use, but not always. If you fancy having a play be careful as you can really screw up your machine. Personally I would recommend getting a graphics card, you can find some pretty good cheap ones with memory expansion slots on, then your card can grow with the technology for a while. if it is an agp card then the aperture size settings would make a difference, not otherwise. Hope this helps :)

Yes i have an Emachines EL1331 was wondering if it came with stereo mix on the sound card windows 7 64 bit upgrade amd athlon dual processor 6000 3.0 ghz

The manual for your system describes the audio as follows:
Embedded high-definition audio with 5.1-channel audio support

Based on that description, I would think that stereo mixing would be a part of that. To find more information and find the audio controls you have go
to Start, Settings Control Panel, and look for sounds, audio/audio devices and double click on that icon. You should get a window that opens, look for the audio tab and the sound play back or similar wording. Look for advanced tabs to find available controls.

You can also look for audio controls on the right side of your task bar (lower portion of the screen where all you open windows appear, as well as the clock, network icons, etc) Double click on those audio icons to see available control windows.

Let me know if you find what you are looking for.
