Question about Computers & Internet
I disassembled my laptop (Gateway W350I) because it was overheating near the 2.5mm DC barrel jack. It looks like there's supposed to be two capacitors in parallel on the motherboard right behind the power jack, a C8 and a C11. C8 is missing! Is there any way to figure out what capacitance it should be? Any suggestions on where to get a replacement? Thanks.
You can use the another capacitance from c11 as reference and replace it. Do not use less microfaradio and less voltage, use the same like c11
God bless you
