Question about Dishwashers
My dishwasher stalls at minute 68 and doesn't continue. It makes a whir click noise a few times, then gets stuck making a "click" "click" over and over. Will never continue the wash cycle. The heating element is very hot and the water reaches the point of very very steamy. Once this happens nothing will work, not even the drain cycle. If I wait for a few hours, I will eventually be able to drain it, run a rinse cycle. Just not actually run a wash cycle. I have taken off the kick plate, but there is no tech sheet (no clue where it has gone). I have searched the internet all day long, no luck finding a copy online. The motor runs, the drain works, the soap drops out, the heating element works (maybe too well?). It seems like its getting stuck on a capacitor, waiting for the signal as to "whats next".
Could be defective timer. The diagram might be on the back of the machine - out of sight, out of mind
