Are you asking what your favorite color is? That's something you would know better than anyone else.

Hello I own a lovely old singer sewing machine,

Hi Mary! These old Singers are such wonderful machines! I'm always glad to hear from someone who loves them and uses them--they will last practically forever with very little ever going wrong.

Sounds like your upper tension is a little loose. I like to use different color threads on top and in the bobbin, to make the stitches easier to see. Also, are you using size 12 needles and 50 wt thread when you're adjusting the tension? Sometimes having a larger (or smaller) needle and/or thread can throw the tension off just a bit. Also, make sure the pressure foot is up when you're threading the machine but down when you adjust the tension and that you only adjust the tension in tiny increments.

You may need to adjust the bobbin tension--but that very seldom needs to be adjusted.

It's also possible that there's a bit of thread or lint caught in the tension disks or in the bobbin area.

Please let me know if these suggestions work.

Happy Sewing!

Robbie

I put in a new color cartridge and my printer, not compatible..

Consider this: Using name brand cartridges is more expensive... but works. If you're using the name brand replacements... good. If you've chosen to use refilled ink, some of the features do not work as well as the original replacements. I used refilled cartridges in my Lexmark All-In-One and the "Ink needs refill" applet did not work correctly... so I turned it off...

95 Jeep Gr. Cher, rear pass window won't roll-up.

If you inspect the harness, it really does not matter what the wire color is if the wire is damaged, repair it
Any broken wires are not a good thing. Also check the wires for the door that has the problem as well. The master switches on jeeps are poorly made and sometimes replacing it will help...I use scrapyard parts for that. A test light and decent voltmeter are very helpful in finding and verifying voltage in wires.

Dvd color is off

Depending on how it is configured to your TV it could be high contrast with the TV. One thing you might want to try is replacing the video cable if you have a spare. If you are using an RF modulator and watch DVDs on Channel 3, you might want to replace the coax line between the box and the TV set.
