I have a 87 glastron Carlson the power trim will go up but not down. I have power too the up and down switch

Suzuki 175 trim motor wont trim up but trims down??

There are a couple relays which control the up/down. I'm pretty sure your "up" relay has bought the farm. Easiest way to test is to locate the two relays under the engine cowling, cover, hood (call it whatever) and swap them. That's how we test them. If you swap them you will probably see that it now goes up but not down. Depending on your budget I would recommend replacing both at the same time. Usually when one fails the other is not far behind.
Easiest way to find yours is to follow the wire harness up from the trim motor into the top of the motor and you will then see that wiring go to the two relays. Other wires on the relays are for your trim switches. Power comes in from them, energies them, then they send the power out, down the other wires to the trim motor. Again, just swap the wires from one to the other and hit the switch. It'll most likely go up this time and not down.

Power tilt trim

what engine is it fitted to ? normally there are two solinoids , one for up and one for down so put a live feed to one of them and see if it powers etc ! if yes then test the feed wires from the trim switch with multi metre etc !

02 Glastron Volvo Penta 3.0L starts and runs with key in start position, but stalls after releasing from start position.

This could be a problem in the micro-switches or the Ignition switch.
The Ignition gets 2 power feeds and the terminals on the switch go through 2 separate paths. One path energizes the Ignition in the Start position and when the return spring moves the Key to the Run position, a second feed and terminal in back of the Ignition switch provides power to the Run circuit.
Now in Volvo units, there are micro-switches and you should see several Solenoids with wiring going to the micro-switches.
Depending on the position of the shifter, a power transfer occurs on Models with a shift-interrupter. There is a Module which acts like an ECM on cars. This is an area which may interest you.
Since the engine is cutting out from neutral to Forward gear, this is exactly the range where the micro-switches interact with the Shift interrupter. An adjustment may have slipped on the micro-switch.
Look on the internet for wiring diagrams.

Operate Trim Switch Do You Hear Clicking Sound In Engine
Yes ,No

Step 2:

If Yes Check Wiring To Power Trim Motor are All Cables Tight
If No Then The Trim Relay And Or Trim Switch Is Probably At Fault

Step 3:

,Remove Three Large Color Wires Going To Power Trim Motor Black, Blue And GreenConnect Black Direct To Negative Battery And Blue To Positive Battery Motor Should Trim Up ,Remove Blue Then Try Green To Positive Battery, Motor Should Trim Down ,If Nothing Then Trim Motor Is At Fault If Works Then Trim Relay/s Are At Fault

How to remove the inside door panel from a dodge 2005 2500 pick up

Release door latch and open door.
Roll window down.
Remove window crank Window Crank - Typical , if equipped.
Remove screws attaching trim panel to door Door Trim Panel and Trim Panel Screw
CAUTION: Do not forcibly pull trim panel from door, damage to trim panel may occur.

Simultaneously lift upward and outward to release retainer steps from inner door panel Trim Panel Retainer
Disengage inside handle linkage rod from inside handle.
Disconnect speaker harness wire connector Speaker And Power Mirror Connector
Disengage power mirror wire connector, if equipped (driver's side only) Speaker And Power Mirror Connector
Disengage clips attaching power window/lock switch panel to door trim panel. Disengage wire connector from switch panel, if equipped Power Door Lock/Window Connector
Separate door trim panel from vehicle.
Position trim panel at door.
Engage wire connector for window/lock switch panel, if equipped. Engage clips attaching power window/lock switch panel to door trim panel.
Engage power mirror wire connector, if equipped.
Connect speaker harness wire connector.
Engage inside handle linkage rod to inside handle.
Align trim panel retainer steps with inner door panel and slide trim panel into place.
Install screws attaching trim panel to door.
Install window crank, if equipped.

Window motor any histories of problems

electric window motors are known for failing, but so are the switches... a good indicator is if it is the motor than while sitting in the car and holing the switch down hit of punch the door trim in the centre, not had enough to smash the door trim but enough to shock the electic motor, if the window starts to work then the motor is the most likley fault.
If this doesn't work the door trim will need to be removed, when removed disconnect the wiring to the window motor, reconnect the window switches and check for power ot the harness to the motor while operating the switch. if not power supply to either wire in the down and up position of the switch, then most likley the switch.
I f there is power at these wires when the switch is operated then the motor must be at fault.

Power trim on 60 hp yamaha quit working

find the solenoid for the trim it will be a the engine or on the trim motor it self get a test lite and find the power wire on the trim motor and with someone pushing the trim button test the hot on the motor if there is no power it is the solenoid if there is power u my have a brush stuck in the trim motor itself but 99% of the time it is the solenoid u can tap the trim motor and see if that gets a result but dont hit hard

Volvo-penta aq271c, trim will go down, but not pwr at relay

First check the switch-- does it have power, then check the solenoid to see if it works-- there are two. One is for down, One is for up. If you get power from the solenoid-- outgoing-- check connections going to pump motor.
