Sea worthy mbb126

My sea worthy mbb126 radio in my boat is 2 years old. Suddenly it won't turn off. All that happens when I hit the power switch is it goes to "mute"; same thing when I hit the "mute" button. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Clarion M5675 won't turn on

Take the stereo all the way out and hook the black wire to the negative terminal and the yellow and the red wire to the positive terminal on a charged car battey. If it still does not turn on you may have fuse in the back of the deck. If not it's probably fried.

SOURCE: I have this radio on a 2001 sea ray boat with the

I know this isn't going to help you but I have a similar issue. The remote will function IF I first turn on the radio from the radio unit itself. Yours should turn on when the boat turns on, as mine did once. Now, my remote will not turn on the radio but will control it once I take the step mentioned above. I suspect I have a faulty remote. Coincidentally my battery now loses it's charge after a couple weeks of no activity. Perhaps a short in the remote unit causes a slow drain.

There should be a button labeled ATT that is your mute button. Att is short for attenuation.

My Solara Dsc radio, which has worked well for several years, suddenly began blowingthe 2 amp fuse on the red power line whenever the transmit button was pushed on the mic. Why?

No worries here.
According to Uniden, the 6 amp fast blow fuse is the correct one.
Not entirely sure why there'd be a 2 amp with your old radio, but I suspect the radio is good.

Intermittent starter won't engage on mercrusier7.4 1988 boat engine

might be a burned spot on the starter contacts where the brushes power the motor.
tap the starter to see if problem goes away.
sometimes you can clean the contacts but that is a temporary fix.

Where can i find the computer on my 2001 chevrolet cavalier

The computer can be in the engine compartment or behind the dash inside the passenger compartment.
But I doubt the problem is the computer. I would check for power at the ignition switch first. If you have power in and out of all circuits with the switch on, next would be the relays.

How do I wire this radio into my boat? The wires coming out of the harness are one red accessory/switch, one black ground, one yellow constant power, and a blue power antenna.

Red goes to the battery.
Since this is a boat, the yellow will go to the battery too, but I recommend you put a toggle switch on this wire, so you can turn it off and it won't drain you battery. The black wire goes to the ground on your battery. The blue wire can be used as a remote turn on for an amplifier.

Thats' It.

No power seaworthy marine amp 400

Do you have anything plugged into the "REM +" slot on the power side of the amp? You need either a signal from a Stereo head unit or another power source to get the amp to actually turn on. If you are using a switched setup for the amp, you can make a little jumper from the Batt+ to the REM+. It doesn;t draw anything significant, it just needs power to signal the amp to turn on. If you aren;t using a headunit, make sure that you wire in a switch inline between ther power source and the REM+ port on the amp, otherwise, the amp will be on all the time.

My car radio, Pioneer DEH-P4750MP, 2 years old is connected to the 12v battery system on our boat, and has just suddenly started flashing when turned on. We cant turn it off or input anything. Have to take...

well, it might have something to do with the fact taht it was designed to be installed in a car. theres no waterproofing or weatherproofing. you probably got water in the unit somehow and it shorted. i did the same thing with my pioneer FH-P404 and it cost me more to repair than to replace.
