Question about HP Compaq Presario CQ50-110US Laptop
My notebook doesn't work. After shutdown it doesn't start. There is no operation on the display from bios/ cmos. Display is still beeing black. Furthermore the cooler doesn't run. Power supply, akkumulator and ram are ok...I've tested the voltage and also tested the ram in another notebook. Status Led is blue = ok. In the end there isn't a function. I suppose the powerboard has a defect. But what can i measure with the voltmeter? Maybe you have an idea? Sorry for my diction i'm from Germany. thanks...
This may be the motherboard has failed, it happens more than most people think. There is no way to check it, but if you are advanced enough you can buy one and replace it, and not have to worry about reinstalling your operating system. Just a possibility, but that is what it sounds like to me.
