Monitor tilts down

My Samsung 910T now tilts downward, and when I try to straighten it, it doesn't stay up. I don't see a way to adjust it in the back. Any ideas? Thanks, Sheri

It's not a great solution, but I just stuck a really small cardboard box between the stand and the monitor. I think there's some sort of spring inside that breaks/comes loose. I took off the monitor (for another repair, this time the power supply, blech...) but can't see a way to investigate the mecanism inside the stand. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

The problem is not the LCD monitor; the problem is that the current device-driver for your computer's video-card is a "generic" ("low-resolution") device-driver.

Open "Device Manager".
Expand the "Display Adapter" section.
Double-click the video-card.
Click "update driver" and let Windows access the Internet, to search for a better driver.

New cartridge won't stay in cradle

You have to place the cartridge tilted downwards into the slot and once it is slid all the way in, straighten it. You should hear some sort of a click. This should solve the problem.

The power button is flashing on and off. get no image believe it is in saver mode, don`t know how to get it out. samsung monitor.

It is more likely to have problem in the power supply section, look inside for bad caps first then post back what you see so we can guide you further, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Monitor Help

Two things: one, the pivot may be really tight and therefore doesn't move easily. Two, the pivot on that monitor doesn't have much range. It ranges from looking slightly downward, to slightly upward. The pivot will give before you break anything so long as you're not trying to force it past the limits.

Tilt new monitor???

mcdevito75 here, I also have an Acer and it Doesn't tilt, that doesn't mean yours won"t, try to hold the monitor by the top and simply try to tilit it while makeing sure the base stays flat on the desk, (table) don"t force anything. Also look for any kind of screw, or handle connected to the base (bottom) or near bottom of back of monitor. Hope this helps. Oh! also check the manual that came with the monitor, mine has no mention of tilt. Sorry.
