Problem for IBM ThinkPad T41 PC Notebook

Popped off ''G'' key, need to know how to anchor back on

Has a mechanism that looks a little like a folding chair. I can see where top prongs should slide into top of key square and bottom prongs look like they should pop in, but the key doesn't seem to be cooperating. Is there a trick to it?
