Rerun the setup for office and do a repair operation. It may be that the function you wish to use has a broken library link in the software. Hopefully this will make a difference in your office functions.

It looks like I will have to go back to factory settings to eliminate the bug or what ever.

The last thing I can think of is to do a full uninstall of Office, defrag the drive to overwrite the program, then reboot and reinstall office.

Thanks for posting your question here at fixya! ;)
You must select text (or some item in the document or content you are working with) to turn on the menu item you wish to use. On the keyboard, the keyboard shortcut for copy is ctrl+c, and the shortcut for paste is ctrl+v. After copying the item you wish to paste, (you may want to click into the area you wish to paste) use the ctrl+v to finish the paste function.

What program are you referring to, or what sort of data are you working with? Word? Internet Explorer? A program for editing photos? More info is needed to be more specific, please.

How to cut copy and paste in windows vista

Cut, copy, & paste in Vista work the same as in every other version of Windows.

Cut or Copy:
  • First, select the content you want to cut or copy. It can be text, graphics, or even files.
  • Next, select Cut (or copy) from the Edit menu. If you prefer using the keyboard, then use Control-X to cut, or Control-C to copy.
Paste:
  • Click where you want to put the content you just cut/copied
  • Select Paste from the Edit menu, or press Control-V.

Hoe to copy & paste for I Mac

How to copy and paste is similar on most computers.
1. Use your mouse to select (highlight) the picture or text you want to copy and paste.
2. While the information is selected, use your mouse and go the the Edit pull down menu in why ever application program you are using and select Copy. Once done you now have a copy in memory.
3. Go to the place where you want to paste the information and click with your mouse on the spot where you want to paste the information. For example in an email, select the line in the document where you want it to go, and then once you see you have a flashing text cursor symbol in the correct place, again to to the Edit menu and select Paste on the pull down menu. Your item should then paste at the position you selected.

If you happen to have a 2 button mouse, as often used with PC's you can right click the item you want to copy once selected and a pop up menu will come up asking if you want to cut, copy, or paste.

I want to know how to show a copy of an email that was sent to me, to show to someone else. Ebay is asking me to include a copy of a email that was sent to me to show proof of what was email to me.

Hello,

Well there are a couple ways to do this.

I think in this case you will want to go to the email. And in the 'Edit' menu select 'Select All'.

The go to the 'Edit' menu again and select 'Copy'.

Next go to where eBay wants you to include a copy of the email select the place you wish to include it.

Then go to the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'.

Hope this helps.

Ive just installed windows 7 on my pc and I wanted to know where to paste my old yahoo messenger conversations... I installed yahoo but I think its another version of it and I just cant find the Profile...

Your "Profiles" folder contains your complete message history archive on your computer. You can copy it to the same location on another computer if you want to view it there. We've included instructions for Windows XP and Windows Vista users.
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows XP:
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (64-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Yahoo!\Messenger\
Warning: Copying your Profiles folder to another computer overwrites any existing message history archive on that computer and it is replaced by yours. That overwritten message history archive will be permanently eliminated by this process. (Workaround: Backup that message archive first to a storage medium such as a CD ROM.)

I was trying to copy and paste a story from word to facebook quizazz but it did work. please help/ any suggestions?

Did you use the command (apple symbol) key + the 'C' key to copy then Command + 'V' key to paste? If you did, try using the same actions but from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen (Edit -> copy, Edit -> paste)
If that still doesn't work, you could try copy and pasting the text into another facebook window, maybe a chat box, then copying from there and pasting into the quizzazz box.
