posted by kimkaasa on Aug 29, 2007

Hi.
I have just formatted the hardrive on my computer and installed everything again.
after installing the Wireless i cant find my own wireless network. i have another laptop witch are connected to the internett with wireless, so i know that my router or the internett modem is not the problem.
i cant find anything wrong with the setup either.Wireless is enabled.("this device is working properly")
can it be a switch on the laptop? where is it? have i installed the proper driver?

please i need help!
I have the same problem.

I have the same problem as described. I know where that button is and it is on and says "wireless lan enabled". The orange light is blinking. The computer also tells me that the internal wireless card is working since it says "the device is working properly" in device manager. I cannot access or "see" any wireless networks and I have already set up one that works with another computer. Do i need to update a driver? Any help is appreciated.

the wireless switch is a button on the front of the casing, which is in the form of a push button which lights up orange or a little slider button.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I can't seem to pick the wireless network in my house, although i can see others in the area in my network connections. The wireless switch is on, and everything seems ok. I've checked the status of the wireless adapter in the control panel and it seems to be ok.
