How to i replace a horn that has three wires to it when the horn I bought only has 2 connectors

I am not an expert on auto horns, but can solve most electrical problems. Do you have a multimeter? Using the ohm-meter, measure the ohm value between the two wires, and from each wire to the horn mounting bracket (you need contact with un-painted metal. The value between the wires should be low (10-100 ohms) but not zero. This represents the horn coil. The value between each wire and the bracket should be very high (10 kilohms or more). This means the horn coil is not grounded to the bracket.

Now, using the voltmeter, measure the voltage between each wire (from one wire to another). The value should be zero before pressing the horn button, and 12 vdc when the horn button is pressed. I would expect one of the wires will also be zero ohms (ohmmeter) when measured to the car frame or body.

Ok, you are ready to hook up the horn. The auto ground wire(s) are connected to a horn wire that is common with the horn bracket. Or, connected to a black horn wire if both horn wires are isolated from the bracket. Connect the auto switch wire (the one that reads 12 vdc when the horn button is pressed) to the remaining horn wire.

What was the year of manufactur

Tasco was originally founded and owned by George Rosenfield in 1954. In March 1996 Rosenfield sold the business. At that time, Tasco employed 160 people in its Florida headquarters, and maintained a location in the state of Washington, which employed 40[1]. In June 1998, Tasco Holdings, Inc. purchased Celestron, another telescope manufacturer which focused on performance optical equipment and the more serious observer. Celestron was second only to Meade Instruments Corporation among marketing and sales of telescopes[3].
Early 2001, Tasco began searching for a buyer as profits sank. Meade Corporation begins negotiations for a merger, but the Federal Trade Commission blocked the attempt.
By June 2002, Wind Point Partners, parent company of Bushnell Performance Optics (BPO) purchases the Tasco trade name and all intellectual property of Tasco Worldwide Inc. from Tasco Holdings, Inc.
In July 2007, Wind Point Partners sold Bushnell Performance Optics along with Tasco property and sales rights to MidOcean Partners, a private equity firm based in New York and London.[4]

I have a pair of Tasco 7x50 InFocus which is giving me a twin focus with the left image above the right one is this repairable, please advise.Garry.

Hi Garry,
It sounds like there is a problem with the collimation of the binoculars this can be fixed, Best bet is to find a Tasco service center/agent, Check their website for locations/contacts. I will be getting mine serviced soon ( I own the same model ) I hear it costs about $40 - $60 AUD to have this done, which includes a clean.

Before doing this make sure that the objective lens' are screwed in nice and tight ( Makes a big difference ) and may save you the cost of a service :)
Regards Jarad

No instructions for Tasco Model 28A scope guide -( looks like a lot of people have this same problem)

The clear plastic case the guide comes in is originally attached to a cardboard backing with the name of the item on front, and the instructions printed on back. Evidently alot of flolks who bought these, took the plastic case with the guide, off the cardboard backing and tossed the cardboard not realizing the instructions are on back. I kept mine, so am one of the few here who has the instructions.

try holding the rifle stock on your jaw and firing the rifle off?
when or if,, you wake up in hospital with a shaterd jaw and with no teeth left in it you will know then! and cheap tasco scope is an air rifle scope it cant take 2500ft/lbs of recoil???
so it wont take much of a kick to mess it up,,

Zeroing scope adjustment

First, adjust wind-age and elevation to center or zero position. Remove your scope from the gun and make sure that the scope mounts are aligned, this is critical. Purchase an alignment tool is necessary. Then remount the scope. The scope should seat in the mounts without binding. If it does bind, the mounts are not aligned.
Start sighting in at close range,10 to 30 yards, then move out to 100 yards.
