Bearings for electric motor

replacing bearings can be tricky, but if you are willing to try most of these motors use 6203 2rs c3 bearings all for the back bearing, the front could be 3 different sizes. after removing them bring the rotor to your local pool pump motor repair shop, and have them remove and replace. about $20.

I have a Jacuzzi Magnum 1500 pool. I want to replace the bearing on it. Which bearing size should I buy Motor is a Century Centurion 7-186087-20

Most pool pump motors use 6203 2RS. There are two in each motor. If you haven't done this before I wouldn't attempt it. Once the motors get to a certain age you cannot get the 4 thru bolts out to disassemble the motor. Plus you need a bearing puller. I suggest buying a replacement motor for under $200.00

What bearings do I need for a sta-rite JWPAS5F-2A4

there is a possibility it might use the most common 6203 2rs or 6203 2rs 5/8 bore, these are a hard motor to work on, you must be careful pulling the front bearing as it is easy to bend the threaded portion of the shaft, and breaking or bending/breaking the start switch is always a possibility, and these parts are near impossible to find ! I wish you the best of luck... jay

Hello Pump is making loud noise and i am betting its the bearings, where can i get them and is it hard to change?

If you are at all mechanically inclined changing them is not to difficult. Look in your local yellow pages for a bearing distributor or power transmission distributor in your area. Placed like Motion Industries, Bearing Service, Applied Industrial, etc. Most spa/pool pump motors use 6203 sealed bearings but your old ones should have enough on them that if you pull the rotor and take it with you you'll walk out with what you need.
