Has it ever worked since the power outage? Have you tried unplugging it for about an hour and then plugging it back in. Sometimes that can reset the control board and solve your problem. I alway like to try the simplest things first.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Oven RF368LXMS wont work. A

The control panel contains the timer/processor for the settings of the program and temperature measurements. A high surge could have had a damaging effect on the delicate electonics. so if there is a step down transformer , please check the primary for an open winding. If so you can change with the same type but if there is power on panel without any resulting display the mP IC would have failed. Might have to check cost of a new panel to decide.
Please look into the panel and comment.

GE Stove tope range not working

If the phenomenon is intermittent, and you get it going and coming as you restart the oven, then it is likely a bad wiring or a bad connection.
Ensure first that the circuit breaker is ok and well in place, then proceed testing wirings.
Check connectors to buners, hobs, and controls panel.
If all wirings and connections are OK, the what reamins is a faulty control panel or a fault on some of the knob controls.

RHFE Rinnai 551FT gas heater is not working after 7 years

see this steps and fix it. God bless you
.
If there is no heat, check the electrical service panel for a burned fuse or tripped breaker. Relight the pilot light (see below).
If there is not enough heat, adjust the burner air shutter (see below); and clean the burner ports (see below).
If the pilot light does not light or does not stay lit, clean the pilot orifice carefully with a toothpick, test the thermocouple and replace it if it is faulty (see below).
If the flame flickers, adjust the pilot (see below).
If there is an exploding sound when the burner ignites, adjust the pilot to a higher setting and clean the pilot orifice and the burner ports.
If the burner takes more than a few seconds to ignite, clean the pilot orifice and adjust the pilot light.
If the burner flame is uneven, clean the burner ports. If the burner flame is very yellow, clean the burner; open vents in the furnace room to provide more air; adjust the burner air shutter.
To light the pilot on a standing-pilot (always on) ignition system, follow the lighting instructions located near the control. Otherwise, try these steps:
Light the pilot:
  1. gasfurnace1.jpg Press and hold the pilot control knob to start the pilot. Set the control knob to the pilot position. Hold a long match under the pilot gas port.
  2. Press the control knob; the pilot should light. Hold the control knob down until the flame is burning brightly (about 30 seconds). Release pressure on the knob, and turn it to the on position.
  3. If the pilot goes out when you release the control knob, try relighting, holding the control knob down longer. If the pilot again goes out, check the thermocouple (below).
Adjust the pilot:
  1. Remove any cap covering the pilot adjusting screw on a combination control.
  2. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to increase the flame or clockwise to decrease it. It is correctly adjusted when the flame envelops the thermocouple bulb by 1/2 inch and appears dark blue with a small yellow tip.
Test and replace a thermocouple:
  1. Hold the control knob to pilot and light the pilot as above.
  2. Unscrew the thermocouple fitting with an open-ended wrench.
  3. Set a multimeter to the DVC (lowest voltage) scale.
  4. Clip one multimeter lead to the end of the thermocouple tube nearest the pilot and the other lead to the fitting on the other end of the tube.
  5. If the multimeter shows a reading besides zero, the thermocouple is functioning. Replace the thermocouple tube.
  6. If there is no reading, you will need to clean or replace the thermocouple following steps 7 through 11.
  7. Release the control knob and shut off the main gas valve on the gas-supply pipe that leads into the burner. Shut off power to the burner at the electrical service panel .
  8. Remove the thermocouple from its mounting bracket.
  9. Wipe the combination control clean and install a new thermocouple, tightening it by hand, then give it a one-quarter turn with a wrench.
  10. Insert the thermocouple into the pilot bracket, being careful to not crimp the tubing.
  11. Turn on power to the furnace and relight the pilot (above).
Adjust an adjustable burner air shutter:
  1. Set the thermostat to its highest setting to keep the burner running. Once the furnace has heated up, remove the burner access panel and loosen the locking screw.
  2. Open the shutter by turning it to the right until the blue base of the flame appears to lift slightly from the burner port surface. Then close the shutter until the flame reseats itself on the surface.
Clean removable burner tubes and ports:
  1. Shut off gas and power to the furnace.
  2. Unscrew or loosen and remove the tubes from the supporting bracket.
  3. Carefully clean the tubes with a brush or vacuum, making sure not to damage the burner ports.
  4. Use a stiff wire to clear any debris from clogged ports.

I have a Brinkman pro series 6330. I just went and had my tank filled and when I hooked it up and turned the burner on to light it, there was no gas getting to the burners. I tried some of the tricks I...

It's a regulator problem, but one that is usually resolvable by doing the following.

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly after it is installed or you will be back to square one, again.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 Gas Range. However all the burners on top will not click to ignite. I turned the breaker off and that back on again and it worked for a day or two. Now nothing will...

Power for the ignitors goes straight from the input power to the burner switches then on to the ignition module. The burner switches are in series parallel. Any one of them actuated will provide power to the ignition module.

See the schematic in this pdf file page 22 but page labeled pg 20: https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/ca8e028c60d9804f85256a8c00621f04/$FILE/4322089.pdf

When the ANY burner control is turned on all 4 ignitors do cycle.

Does the oven burner light? If not you most likely have a bad ignition control unit. Item 35 this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=242126&diagram_id=32025#d32025

If the oven burner lights then you most likely have a wiring problem to the burner controls. There is ONE power lead that if it comes loose will cause all of the ignitors not to work.

You can use the https:// manual link above to gain access to the top of your oven. See page 15 of the .pdf file.

The igniton system is explained starting on page 19 of the pdf file.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

For the GE XL44 model, where would i find the pilot light? the stove is not working

There is not pilot light on the stove top since the burner is activated by a spark generate by high voltage to a small ceramic disk with a wire protruding from it by the burner.
You have the have AC Power to the stove and you should hear a clicking when you slightly turn on the burner. Once the burner is on fire then turn the burner control to the desired temperature. If the burner will not light after 4 seconds of clicking sounds turn the burner control off and make sure the round gas diffuser on top of the burner is correctly seated on the burner. It should lock in place and is removable for daily cleaning of the stove. Now try the burner control again in the light position for no more than four seconds to see if it lights.
Do you smell gas? Do you hear clicking when slightly turning the burner knob? If yes to both the stove is working and the top of the burner is not seated correctly. If no on either or both you may have a stove, electrical or gas problem.
