SOURCE: Sony KV34XBR800 Red Flashing Standby Light No Power

The red light should be blinking a code. For example it will blink 4 times pause then 4 times pause or 5times pause 5 times pause, whatever the error might be. Let me know what it is and then we can help more.

If the Standby light is blinking at the front panel of the TV, it seems that there is an internal malfunction occurred in the TV. I will forward a link to a page where you can get more information and troubleshooting steps for this issue. http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=C399467 Please perform the steps provided on the page. When turning on tv. screen will display Bravia image & then go blank. red light flashes SIX times

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TVicon1.png will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.

My bravia will not stay on.

Hi,
If Bravia tv wont stay On and shuts Off itself that means it got some internal problem, you will see red light flashing on tv front in specific blinking time that is an error code, let me know how many times that red light is blinking after three seconds long pause to diagnose problem.
Thanks.

Sounds like the power supply may be failing. Count the beeps next time, that will give you the error code.

BRAVIA KDL-V32A12U PICTURE LOSS

THREE Blinks
B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby
mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power
supply circuit, check T603 and R672.
FIVE Blinks
AKB circuit (AKB), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about
30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. Also unit be in IK blanking,
try turning up screen slightly.
