Question about Garden
The product stopped last year but as I had finished with it I did not worry. Tried starting it this year to no avail. I have tried the following: 1. Changing the fuel. 2. Changing the spark plug 3. Stripping the carburetor and cleaning with carb fluid. 3. Readjusted the carb settings. 4. Replace carburetor. 5. Cleaned all the filters and the exhaust port. This was full of fluid 6. Whilst the exhaust (and spark plug) was off I pulled the starter chord slowly which open back the piston to an open cylinder. As the carb and exhaust port are opposite each other it I cannot see how the fuel mixture does not go straight through. Giving the problem above. 7. The machine shows no sign of starting which to me suggests a possible compression or timing problem.

Many of these small blowers have an alloy key moulded into the flywheel, if this has sheared it will knock the ignition timing out, and will never run.
