Hi,I have a makita impact driver, I press the trigger and don't work, only the light come on,I replace the trigger but I still have the same problem.

I would guess that you have a motor issue. It maybe as simple as needing new brushes. I have an Makita impact at work and it has carbon brushes and if one of those goes bad or hangs up it will stop the driver. Hope this helps!

Why bosch hammer drill not drilling

its possible the shaft used to engage the drill is broken, how old is the drill? Do you have it under warranty still? if its fairly new i'd return it and get a replacement for it.

How to change the brushes in the older Craftsman tool. Seems they are placed in the motor and the end closed by small tabs bent down?

if that is the case without having the model number it sounds like they are not replaceable and you would have to buy a motor assembly. Alot of tool mfrs did not make these brushes replaceable.

I have an older basic makita cordless drill worked fine until now battery charged and it doesnt work. charged again. still nothing- except the built in light on the drill lights up weird

if the battery show good on the charger and you have a light i would check the switch. you can do a hot wire connection to check it. you need you battery and two wire connedtors. disconnect your switch and hook your battery straight to the motor. if the motor turns it is your switch. if not, that's bad, probably the motor is gone.

My 24v new makita drill doesnt hold charge

the new batteries now have a little computer in them, so to speak. when you plug in the battery to the charger and you get the alternate flashing light the battery is bad. if the charger is working and the battery is just not lasting very long the battery may be going bad. there could be a problem in the motor causing your battery to drain too fast. does the drill work normal, no overheating or noise, bad bearing.

Is it worth replacing the motor on a 14v milwaukee drill? the chuck is metal and not one of the new plastic ones so i'm partial to the drill. i've had it about 6 years and it recently quit working. (i've...

depends on the condition of the batterys, if they are still good then I would say yes, but given the age of the tool if the batterys need replaced then you would have over half the cost of a new tool. You can go to Milwaukeetools.com and with your model number find the motor and the list price for it so you can weigh your options,
