2 used LXi machines, they were power washed and stored. an electrician had to open the electric board (drawer) in order to hardwire machines both machines flash the "door open" (dr op) display.

there is a door switch (reed switch) located inside (I believe) the top right side of the unit and there is a magnet in the same place on the door that triggers the switch. If it isn't adjusted right it wont sense the doors are closed. Odd that both would be doing the same thing. Here are the parts diagrams. Torsion Bars

No, your Honda does not have "torsion bars". You have a coil springs to absorb bumps and give the suspension compliance. A torsion bar was used on many Chrysler products and older vehicles. You may be confusing "torsion" bars with "sway" bars. A sway bar links suspension from side to side to keep the vehicle "flatter" in corners as an aid to handling.

Lxi hobart not pulling rinse aid i used a screwdriver across prongs on board to make it run manually but still not coming out

try replacing the "squeeze tube" inside the dispensing unit. Over time the tube flattens out. If the tube is flattened no chemical will be drawn from your jug.

Disconnect inlet and outlet hoses on rinse aid dispensing unit.
Remove 4 screws and pull off outer face of dispensing unit. You can watch the dispenser operate with the face off if you wish, as long as the hose doesn't fall out (which it won't).
Remove squeeze tube and install new tube.
Reassemble inlet and outlet hoses (be sure to not mix up which tube/hose goes on top and which on bottom).

Also possible that the hose from the chemical jug to the dispensing unit has a hole/crack or otherwise. If the hose has a leak it'll lose suction and draw air in from the leak and not pull chemical.

I have purchased a business - with a Hobart LXi - and no manual. I can't figure out what soap etc to use - or how it gets into the dishwasher!

Contact your local chemical supplier such as EcoLab or AutoChlor to purchase the proper chemicals. Use ONLY commercal dish washing chemicals. Residential detergents like Cascade do not dissolve fast enough and WILL, in time, cause you trouble if used in the LXi.

There should be three colored plastic tubes at the rear of your machine. Red is to be put in a container of liquid detergent, Blue is for rinse aid, and white/clear is for sanitizer. Your chemical salesman should be able to show you how it's done at no charge.

You may also want to register here http://www.hobartservice.com/Manuals/ then download the manuals for the LXi dish machine.

All the best.

Right front is down and has a rattle could it be a strut

The Jimmy has no strut, they run on torsion bars. The torsion bar mount bushings may have gone bad or broke and needs to be replaced, you can pick up the torsion bar mount bushing at most large auto parts store like Auto Zone and i believe there around $40.00 each and the will have the step by step instructions to get the job done with common tools. The torsion bar mounts are about mid way down the jimmy just about where the drivers and passenger door is under the frame and they are adjustable.

To properly adjust your torsion bars, you need to find your "Z" height.First, park the truck on a level surface and measure the height betweenthe ground and the bottom of the knuckle (next to where the lower balljoint's nut is). This is measurement "A". Then, measure between levelground and the center of the rear most lower control arm bolt. This ismeasurement "B". "B" - "A" = "Z" and "Z" should be between 4.6 inchesand 5.2 inches. We just lifted a 2001 2 dr. blazer 6" with a super-liftkit. All angles and measurements stay in factory specifications andwhen you are done you set the torsion bars to factory specifications. Ihad to adjust my "Z" height last week to factory specifications andfollowed the directions and picture on page 21 and 22 here:http://www.superlift.com/instructions/3146.pdf .

Dish washer over filling?

The first thing you should do is clean the level probes in the unit. There are two probes sticking through the back of the unit and the water completes a circuit between these two telling the machine when it is full. If they are clean, you may have a faulty sensor or wiring.
