Water does not stop

Our coffee maker is hooked directly into the water supply so it is constantly refilled. A new employee held the start button down until the water started to fill coffee pot instead of pressing and releasing. Now the fill cycle does not stop at the corret time to produce a full pot, it just constantly runs. Is there a way to reset the fill cycle to just one pot? Unplugging the machine did not fix problem

SOURCE: does not brew a full pot of coffee

I had the same issue, poured in 8 and out came 6. Here's what I did to clean and fix.
1) Unplug the NHB
2) Remove accessories like the pot and basket
3) Bring NHB over to the sink
4) Snap off the entire top cover (not the swing lid) by starting at the front and lifting upward (the top cover is about 1/4" thick). The back of the top cover will pivot a bit and then pop off exposing the pour reservoir. Remove the flow stopper inside the pour reservoir by lifting it straight up.
5) Place the top cover and flow stopper aside.
6) Remove the brew diffuser (located underneath the top where the brew basket goes. Twist counterclockwise gently but forcefully enough to snap it past the lock tabs which hold it in place. You'll know that it you've done this correctly when it just falls out.
7) Still over the sink, tip the NHB in a fashion where the back side is facing upward and the brew side is facing down into the sink. You'll be holding the NHB horizontally by the top and bottom of the unit. This will allow any water in the tank to pour out the brew spout. Begin to tip the unit as if tipping upside down as this will allow any remaining water to drain out. If this does not work the brew spout hose may be clogged and you can just tip the unit entirely upside down to empty it from the fill hole in the pour reservoir.
8) Return the NHB to the upright position in the sink.
9) Using a scotch brite sponge and some baking soda, clean the inside of the pour reservoir and rinse.
10) Using the tool Bunn provided, clean out the brew spout hose which is located under the brew hat. This is the little hole where the water comes out. If you don't have the tool Bunn provided you could use something like a plastic tie-wrap. Don't use anything metal as the hose you're cleaning is made of plastic tube and could become punctured. Clean this hose for just a minute or two to ensure that there are no significant obstructions.
11) With the NHB upright in the sink, pour a slow stream of hot water from the faucet, about two cups, directly into the fill hole located in the pour reservoir.
12) Tip the unit horizontally, as in step 7, and place the tip of your finger over the pour reservoir fill hole covering it completely.
13) Shake the unit back and forth horizontally so the water in the tank splashes around and frees anything which may be built up in the tank. Some water may splash out of the brew spout hose.
14) Tip the unit as in step 7 to drain the tank water out.
15) Fill a 16 ounce glass with hot water and 2tbsp baking soda, mix and pour into the pour reservoir fill hole.
16) Repeat steps 13 and 14 once.
17) Repeat steps 11 through 14 three times.
18) Clean the pour reservoir cover, swing lid and flow stopper.
19) Put the flow stopper back in place.
20) Attach the top cover.
21) Clean the exterior of the NHB.
22) With the boil and warmer switches off, plug the NHB into the electrical outlet.
23) Turn the boil and warmer plate switches on.
24) Fill the NHB with one pot of cold water and close the swing lid. Wait one minute.
25) Fill the NHB with another pot of cold water. Place the pot on the warmer plate and close the swing lid. If water does not yet come out, fill with one more pot of water.
26) Allow water to drain from brew spout until it stops draining.
27) Empty pot.
28) Fill pot to 10 cup line and pour into the NHB. You should find that the NHB now delivers 10 cups back to the pot. Empty the pot.
29) Clean brew spout diffuser and replace back in the brew hat.
30) Clean the pot, pot lid and brew basket.
31) Wait ten minutes for the water in the tank to boil.
32) Brew your coffee as you normally would.

The only issue I experienced during this process was with the warmer plate switch. It appeared that the light in the switch blew although the warmer plate still warmed normally. Shortly after the water in the tank started boiling the warmer switch light started operating again.

SOURCE: Water supply for Bunn coffee maker

open the cover on the brewer- depending on your model, it could be the front or the back cover. look for a brew timer dial. turn this up slowly, running a brew each time to see if you now have a full pot

SOURCE: Inconsistent water amount being dispensed

It sounds like there is some build up in the brew line, find the nearest bunn dealer and get a delimming spring, then remove the shower and run spring through brew line.

Tassimo T40. Water suddenly stopped flowing. Constantly showing 'refil water' despite being refilled. Water can flow from valve at bottom of reservoir but seems not to be going down into machine.

This will be due to the magnetic float in the water tank. Make sure there is enough water in the tank and the black circular float nearest the machine is not stuck. Try gently tapping talent or lift out and replace firmly.

Inside the machine there is a magnetic reed switch that senses when the float is in the down position and tank empty. Sometimes this sticks causing the refil tank message

Prime light came on.did all cleaning..air drying..etc. refilled.plugged in machine. Not ready light came on and cold water started immediately coming out and won't stop till add water light comes on

Sounds like your refill float that stops the water fill process when its full is stuck from most likely setting to dry upside down jar and jolt the machine heave up and down a few times plug it in try it do this until it stops on its own or you may have to take it apart also make sure the water line is turned back on if this is hooked up to operate on its own water supply.

Followed the directions to adjust the water level dispensed. While having the switch on the panel on "set" I clicked the start button to remove the required 2 sec intervals I needed then held...

While holding down the switch you will hear the solenoid start and stop 3 times. You should have to hold down the switch for about 10 seconds to get the program started. Make sure the white lever on the board is not on the L.

Water will not pass through seems clogged

Sometimes coffee grounds get into the intake if you don't use the intake filter. Unplug, set the pot aside and then turn the coffe maker upside down in a sink with a good hose sprayer. Direct the water up into the intake side of the coffe maker with the filter out.

Then refill and see if water will flow through. If it works, run vinegar or a pot of water with a tablespoon of dissolved baking soda (dissolve in pot first or it will clog the coffee maker).

It worked for me.

Excessive water poured through shot

its possible someone held the buttons down to long enabling program mode.

Go to your local market and purchase a 3 ounce measuring glass. Place it where you place your coffee cup and hold down the small button, it should enable program mode. Stop it once it reaches 1 ounce or your desired amount.

Do the same for the large.

Red descale light is on

I use distilled white vinegar, but you can use specialized coffee cleaners with this model:

Descaling
Descaling 11
Descale your Tassimo machine every three months to keep it
operating at full potential.
1
Descaling products are widely available from stores selling coffeemakers and espresso
machines. Only use a product intended for descaling. Mix the descaling product
directly in the water container, following the instructions provided on the descaling
packaging. Replace the water container on the machine.
2 Place a large cup or mug on the cup stand, insert the cleaning disc, bar code down,
and close the brew mechanism. When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release
the start/stop button. The brew cycle will fill the machine with descaling solution. Empty
the cup and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
3 Open the brew mechanism and close it again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop button. When the
machine stops running, empty the cup, and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
Repeat this step two more times for maximum descaling effectiveness. Discard the
remaining descaling agent from the water container, rinse it thoroughly and refill
with fresh, cold water.
4 Open and close the brew mechanism again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and hold the start/stop button to flush water
through the machine. The MANUAL light will flash. When the cup is full, release the
start/stop button, empty the cup, and replace it on the cup stand.
5 Repeat step 4, flushing clean water through the machine in the same manner and
emptying the cup as it fills. To ensure that all the descaling solution is completely rinsed
away, flush two full water containers through the machine before using it again.

Taste

Check your water supply lines if your unit is hooked directly into a water supply. Your unit either has to be cleaned (de-limed) or your water source is bad. You could try using filtered water, but if you have residue inside the unit it must be flushed with a professional delimer if white vinegar doesn't do the trick.
