Question about Sewing Machines
My machine just stopped while working on a project. No power goes to the machine. The light won't turn on, I tried a new bulb. I unplugged the cords and I checked the outlets. Any Ideas?
I just looked up the manual for this machine and didn't see anything that is similar to what you are describing. I do know that some of the newer machines (after 1960) have a fuse that would protect any electronics or sensitive motors. I've also had a motor just flat die, but that wouldn't explain why the light isn't working.
here's the manual, in case you need it. I would take the machine in and have it looked at. If it's something simple, I would have all the belts replaced and have it lubed and oiled and the timing checked while in.
