MY MOTOR WILL ONLY TURN RIGHT. WILL NOT TURN LEFT WITH EITHER THE CO-PILOT REMOTE NOR THE WIRED FOOT CONTROL. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM. I AM GOOD WITH ELECTRONICS AND HAVE TEST METERS.

it has an electrical connection problem... check all the connections on the pedal control. your loosing connection making it die and when you kick it it connects again... look for a frayed wire. or a corroded connnection.

Mine did the same thing and i think that it could be the relay under the switch cause i had power when i directly touched both neg. and pos. so i would diffently take a look at that.

There is a good chance that he control board is bad. This is a common problem with these units. I have replaced my control board twice.. When the control board goes out, the some function of the unit will not work correctly while other functions work fine. The first time mine went out, the prop motor would not work. The last time the board went out, the unit would only steer right.

Lost power to trolling motor. Fuses are good, and am getting power to the plug. I replaced the control board about 3 years ago, and the attenuator never worked right. How can I tell if power is making it to the control board?
