    1. Goto 'Inventory Maintenance' & select 'Add item' Now choose 'Coupon' (info at 5minutes/20seconds below video link)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv0IXxnu...

    2. name this item something like "no tax" or "to go orders" and the coupon item will be the tax % you want to remove or subtract.

3.You can add a button for the coupon item and drag it up to the top making this button available on your tender/ring up screen. Info for touch screen button below.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3c9icNq...

Good luck I created the same tax removal button for the business I manage & it works. (Play around with your coupon % to get the exact amount to be removed & your done) Ry

As far as I know, there is no way to change the font settings in CRE (I hope you mean RPE). But, you may be able to change the default settings in the printer itself to get larger print. I am available for tech help if you need it, but you should have 3 months free support from PCAmerica with the purchase. I also do custom menu support for RPE. sysadmin@ccybernet.com

SOURCE: Using PC America v 12

An intermittent problem such as this can be extremely difficult to diagnose and fix. Is it software related? Then it should malfunction more regularly. Is it hardware related? Possibly, because this could be more irratic. Is it a process procedure error? Unlikely.
First, have someone analyse the database to see if multiple payments were indeed recorded. This verifies if it is you or the CC processing company.
Second, I think you should make a database backup. Uninstall both SQL and RPE, then reinstall them and restore your database. Or you could do just one. See if that works. If not reinstall the other.
If this doesn't cure the problem, new hardware, specifically the PC if it is a separate unit.

You can set the printer to use the fonts that you choose and assign instead of going with the default of the software by PC America. It will be a hassle to change it being you already have it set up and running. I will give you the instructions on how to accomplish this anyway. Here you go!

Uninstall your printer from PC America (click on the friendly printer set up and delete the printer you have installed).

Open a Microsoft Word document and click the round globe at the top left side of the screen, slide down and choose "print" to bring up the printer settings window.

on the bottom left of the printer settings window, there is a box that says "options" click on it. This will open a new window with choices on the top left side. One of those choices says "save". Click on "save" and you will get a new window that opens. At the bottom of this window it has a choice to "embed Font". Check this box. If you hoover around the I with the circle around it at the end of the "embed font" feature, it will explain that checking this box allows you to choose and save the Font. Choose the Font and size on the next screen and save all changes to get back to the printer settings window. When you get back, look for the box that says "preferences" and click on it. There are options to have the printer control the item you are printing or to allow the software control. You need to set the printer to control the settings and set the default of your font choices. Then save and exit.

Reinstall the printer after choosing the settings in your PC America software and that should solve your problem.

I am sorry that I could not be more specific about the actual verbage of choices in the preferences area of your printer, but it changes depending on the operating system you are using (Win Xp, vista ect). You can click on the help settings in windows and search for how to set fonts on your printer if you need more assistance.

This looks like an SQL database issue. Call PCAmerica tech support and they should help you out. Unfortunately it is not toll free: 845.920.0888 Please comment back if they refuse.
You could also uninstall sql server and RPE and then reinstall them. You could have gotten a bad download the first time.

Good Morning I have a PC America POS system. It is 3 years old. The employee who was running it has left.

If you have no access to an administrative password, I doubt you want 3rd parties trying to "crack" the system to unlock it. Consider how that would leave the system open to abuse if achieveable. Beyond the threat of legal recourse, likely to cost more than whatever pcAmerica might charge, you are likely stuck.

Does The Small Business Deduction Flow Right From School District Income Taxes?

No. The deduction won't change up the calculation of the taxpayer's school district tax liability. Rather, it will likely be added to taxed earnings for college district tax reasons. If you required the small business investor deduction on Plan A, line 41 of the 2014 Ohio form IT 1040 and also you live in a conventional tax base school district, you have to add some amount subtracted back online 18 of the 2014 Ohio SD 100.

How do i sererpate the differnt taxes i charge

In the SETUP options screen, choose tax rates. There you can setup three different tax rates and name them. EX: State Tax: 5%; County Tax: 2.5%; Local Tax: 1%. Then in inventory, choose what items get each tax applied. On customers receipt, each will print on a separate line after subtotal. On most reports, the taxes are totaled separately.
