Problem to put the cartridge tray to printer Canon LBP 5050

  • Canon LBP5050 printer does not have a cartridge tray. Instead, it uses individual toner cartridges for each color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) that are inserted into specific slots inside the printer.
To replace a toner cartridge in the Canon LBP5050, follow these steps:
  1. Make sure the printer is turned on and the front cover is open.
  2. Locate the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced. Each cartridge is labeled with the corresponding color.
  3. Hold the handle of the cartridge and gently pull it out of the printer.
  4. Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging and shake it gently to distribute the toner.
  5. Remove the protective cover from the cartridge.
  6. Hold the handle of the new cartridge and insert it into the corresponding slot in the printer.
  7. Push the cartridge all the way in until it clicks into place.
  8. Repeat this process for any additional cartridges that need to be replaced.
Once all of the toner cartridges have been replaced, close the front cover of the printer. The printer should automatically recognize the new cartridges and begin the toner replacement process.

Can't seem to find how to put ink into my canon mx 310 printer

I'm assuming when you said "fine catridge" you meant FINE cartridge. FINE is an acronym for the Canon Ink Cartridges. Anyhow, plug your printer into the electrical outlet and turn the power on. Wait about 1-3 minutes and open it up and the Ink Cartridge holders should move to the left for you to properly insert your Ink Cartridges.

Message tells me black ink cartridge empty when I just put new one in

if you are using a refilled cartridge the printer don't accept them, you need to use the proper canon ink cartridge, if you are using the canon cartridge you have to press the stop botton for 5sec for accepting the new cartridge.

Error "Put in cartridge" Canon mp370 orange led keeps flashing

This is an issue caused when the cartridges entered are not the one which is usually used by the printer. Check the Cartridge make. It can also be caused of Dirty Cartridge contacts. If that is the problem then you have to clean the Cartridge contact and its connecting socket with alcohol. And most importantly, first check are the Cartridges fully inserted ans set in completely.

Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

I've just put new Canon ink in and message reads " more than one ink tank of the following colour is installed black (8). I have all the correct ink tanks in, so am confused as to why i cannot print..

This is common in Canon Pixma printers (all models). If you are refilling your cartridges or are buying refurbished cartridges this will happen more often. Take the cartridge out and put it back in. If this does not work, then replace the cartridge altogether. If that doesn't work, you need to contact Canon (us.canon.com if you are in the U.S.) for help. Let me know if this helps you.

Canon ip1600

Dear hoppygink,
Canon pixma ip1200 series (ip1200,1600,2200) identify the first new cartridge installed in the printer and detects ink level properly unless you put another used cartridge or you its own cartridge to another printer. Once you do this, ink level of the cartridge become unknown. So, never exchange its own cartridge with another ip1600 printer. This will be back to normal condition when you replace with new fresh one catridge that never used before. This weakness has been improved by canon in pixma ip1300 series (ip1300 & 1700) anyway.
To prevent this problem occurs, you need to back up EEPROM data of the printer by using EEPROM restore tools before perform cartridge exchange. I will discuss this in Canon Inkjet Forum in the next coming chance. Please send me your email to: [email protected] so I can notice you immediately after posting the topic.
